FLAGSTAFF, Arizona — Flagstaff Subaru opened its own stand-alone facility with multiple upgrades, including a drive-through car wash, express lube lanes and a training room available to the public for free rental.
The dealership opened its own 32,000-square-foot building adjacent to its former location that's now a stand-alone Flagstaff Nissan store.
It also gives customers access to more bells and whistles. They include a drive-through car wash, express lube lanes, a kids' play area and a 36-chair training room with a 60-inch flat-screen TV wired for presentations.
The dealership loans the room for free to any community group that requests it, Steve Hales, Internet manager, told Edmunds.
"It's available seven days a week but they need to call ahead and we put it on our calendar," Hales said.
The training room is adjacent to the lunch room and kitchen, providing space for caterers to set up for a larger event, Hales said.
"We made this available because we want to give back to the community because there aren't a lot of places to gather in Flagstaff," he said.
Hales hopes it sells cars, too.
"More people can see the dealership when they come here for a meeting, which is a good opportunity to show it off," Hales said.
Edmunds says: This dealership's winning formula puts the emphasis on community spirit.
