DETROIT Audi, Buick, Chevrolet, Honda, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen are among the automakers hosting spring sales events that offer consumers the chance to take advantage of special savings in time for summer.

During the Spring of Audi Sales Event, Audi will pay the first month's lease payment on such 2015 models as the A3 and S3 sedans, A3 Cabriolet, A4 and S4 sedans, allroad wagon and A8 sedan, as well as 2015 and 2016 A6 and S6 sedans. Audi says that amounts to savings of $600 to $1,800 depending on model.

The Buick Sign & Drive Event offers lease deals with nothing due at signing on its entire 2015 lineup. Featured vehicles include the Enclave 1SD SUV, Encore 1SB compact SUV, LaCrosse 1SB sedan, Regal 1SN sedan and Verano 1SD sedan.

Chevrolet's 15 Percent Cash Back special gets buyers $2,592 to $5,200 back, depending on the model. Some 2015 vehicles covered by the program include the Cruze LT sedan, Malibu LT sedan, Equinox LT compact SUV, Impala LT sedan and Sonic LT subcompact.

The Honda Dream Garage Sales Event features no down payment, first month's payment or security deposit on leases on a variety of certain 2015 models, including the Civic, Accord and Pilot. With this program Honda is advertising payments of $230 per month for 35 months on the Civic SE, $250 for 35 months on the Accord LX and $330 per month for 35 months on the Pilot SE.

Mercedes-Benz is offering a Spring Bonus of up to $2,000 on the purchase of select 2015 C-Class, E-Class or M-Class vehicles. Mercedes is also running a number of lease specials on such models as the 2015 C250 Coupe, C300 Sport Sedan and C300 4MATIC Sport Sedan.

The Volkswagen Stop Dreaming Start Driving Event offers zero-percent financing, plus an additional $1,000 credit bonus, to buyers who finance a 2015 Jetta or Passat through Volkswagen Credit.

Note that advertised prices may be available only to qualified customers for a limited time and vary according to geographic area, trim level of the vehicle and in-stock availability.

Specific lease terms depend on a variety of factors, including duration and annual mileage allowance. Payment amounts do not include sales taxes and other applicable fees.

Edmunds says: Consumers in the market for a new vehicle should check out these and other deals being offered by local dealers.
