2014 Nissan Rogue Up for Grabs in New Social Media Contest

NASHVILLE, Tennessee Nissan North America is advertising its all-new 2014 Nissan Rogue with a social-media contest called "Open the Briefcase" that gives entrants the chance to win one of three 2014 Rogue vehicles.

The approximate value of each vehicle is pegged at $30,000, according to contest rules.

The marketing effort begins with a video sequence that includes a young man getting into a car chase involving a mysterious silver briefcase. Participants are supposed to go to the contest Web site and try to "crack the code" of this briefcase and reveal its contents. Three of those participants will be chosen as the grand prize winners, finding the keys to a new 2014 Nissan Rogue inside.

Those interested can enter once a day and will be given additional entries by sharing the contest through their various forms of social media. The contest is already running and will end on February 13. 

The 2014 Nissan Rogue is on sale now at Nissan dealers starting at $23,300. The redesigned Rogue competes with the 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek, Mazda CX-5 and Honda CR-V, among others.
