MONTEREY, California — The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Ettore Bugatti, which is priced at $3.2 million, will make its world debut on August 15 at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

Production will be limited to three cars.

This is the last of the Bugatti Legends series.

It is named for Ettore Bugatti, the founder of the Italian marque, and is based on the Bugatti Type 41 Royale.

Powering the final Legend is a 1,183-horsepower 8.0-liter W16 engine with a maximum speed of 254 mph with the roof down.

The body sports a "yin-yang" color split. The front part is made of hand-polished aluminum and finished with a clear coating. The rest gets a dark-blue exposed carbon finish. Rounding out the exterior are polished, diamond-cut wheel rims that match the body with a dark-blue finish.

"The eight-spoke wheel was created by Ettore Bugatti who was looking for a light wheel for his racing cars," the automaker said in a statement.

Bugatti's signature is engraved into the tank and oil cap.

The cabin gets two types of leather: seats with dark-blue seams and a platinum-coated dancing elephant logo that is patterned after the hood ornament of the Type 41 Royale.

Bugatti said it will present all six Bugatti Legends vehicles together at the event for the "first and only time."

Edmunds says: This work of art promises to make the Pebble Beach festivities very special.
