Prices for the Viper GTC start at $99,590, including a $1,995 destination charge and $2,600 gas-guzzler tax, while the base 2015 Viper SRT starts at $89,590, including destination charge and gas-guzzler tax.
All 2015 Viper GTCs are custom-built models, with a variety of appearance, comfort and performance options. But the new online tool makes the process easier — and more fun.
Buyers and dreamers alike can now design their own one-of-a-kind Dodge supercar, using the customizer to select from 8,000 exterior colors, 24,000 stripe colors, 11 wheel options, seven aero packages, three brake packages and four suspension options.
Users can even "sit" in the virtual Viper cockpit and check out the 16 available interior trim packages.
When the design is complete, the GTC Inspiration Gallery allows enthusiasts to post their unique creations for the enjoyment of other visitors. The designs can also be shared with friends, posted to social media or used as wallpaper on smartphones, tablets or computers.
Buyers don't have to worry about copycats, though. Dodge says its "1 of 1" program ensures that no two customers can order the same configuration, including color combination, in the same model year.
But for those who do order a custom Viper GTC, Dodge will send a complimentary 1:18-scale model of their car as a souvenir and to confirm their color choice. And when the "1 of 1" Viper is delivered, it will feature the owner's name on a personalized instrument-panel badge.
