White River Toyota Aids David's House With Golf and Ice Cream Social Sponsorship

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vermont White River Toyota is assisting David's House by sponsoring its Sundae at the House, a family ice cream social on July 24 and the 18th Annual Upper Valley Golf Tournament at Eastman on September 12.

It marks the first time the dealership has aligned itself with David's House, which provides lodging and support for families with children receiving treatment through the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

"It's a great cause that helps families from all over the country during tough times, and at White River Toyota, we love giving back and being a part of the Upper Valley community," said Tricia Cawley, digital marketing specialist for Heritage Automotive Group, which owns White River Toyota.

Their sponsorship of the golf tournament alone will cover 60 overnight stays and 14 day-guest visits, Cawley told Edmunds in an e-mailed message.

Golfers and their guests will notice White River Toyota cars strategically placed at the tournament, a banner, and their logo on shirts, signs and the program.

At Sundae at the House, which features crafts, games, an obstacle course, ice cream and more, the dealership will provide volunteers at the event, which brings together David's House alumni with current patient families.

"While we don't participate in these events for the publicity, we will have a strong presence at the events and hope that our image and involvement resonates with the customer," Cawley said.
