That's nearly twice as much as the base 2016 Volvo XC90 SUV, which starts at $50,795, including shipping.
Volvo's U.S. arm said limited numbers of the XC90 Excellence will be available at Volvo dealerships this summer.
The 400-horsepower T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid powertrain is standard equipment on the XC90 Excellence. Other details include an Orrefors crystal gear shifter and handcrafted crystal glasses, along with a 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
Buyers will have some unique options when it comes to cabin configurations.
They include a "Lounge Concept" in which the front passenger seat is replaced with a footrest and an LCD screen.
The XC90 Excellence is touted as the "most luxurious car in Volvo Cars' 89-year history."
"This car exposes Volvo to a new type of buyer," said Lex Kerssemakers, Volvo Car USA president and CEO, in a statement on Wednesday.
Edmunds says: Since this special Volvo SUV will be sold in limited numbers, it's a good idea to check in with your Volvo dealer now and express your interest.
