2016 Scion iM and iA To Arrive at Dealerships on September 1; Pricing Announced

TORRANCE, California — The all-new 2016 Scion iM hatchback and 2016 Scion iA sedan will arrive at Scion dealerships on September 1, Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. announced on Monday.

The 2016 Scion iM starts at $19,255 for the six-speed manual-transmission model, while the continuously variable transmission model starts at $19,995. Pricing includes a $795 destination charge.

The iM targets the Ford Focus, Mazda 3 and Volkswagen Golf.

Standard features on the iM include a 7-inch Pioneer audio unit with standard HD radio and Aha, a rearview camera and leather-wrapped steering wheel.

It is equipped with a 137-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine.

Exterior color choices include Spring Green Metallic and Electric Storm Blue.

The 2016 Scion iA, the brand's first sedan, starts at $16,495 for the six-speed manual transmission model and $17,595 for the six-speed automatic model. Pricing includes a $795 destination charge.

The iA takes aim at the Ford Fiesta, Honda Fit and Hyundai Accent.

Standard iA features include keyless entry with push-button start, a low-speed pre-collision system and rearview camera.

It is equipped with a 106-hp 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine.

Scion's no-haggle Pure Price policy means the same price posted in the dealership is the price customers pay.
