2017 Chrysler Pacifica Campaign Extended With New "Street Smarts" Web Videos

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan — The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica "Dad Brands" campaign starring Jim Gaffigan has been extended with the new "Street Smarts" series of web videos.

The 2017 Pacifica minivan, on sale now at Chrysler dealers, competes against such models as the Honda Odyssey, Kia Sedona, Nissan Quest and Toyota Sienna.

As previously reported by Edmunds, the Dad Brands campaign debuted earlier this year with a series of humorous television spots featuring deadpan comedian Gaffigan explaining why Pacifica is the perfect vehicle for busy fathers on the go.

The seven new videos, which will be posted across Chrysler's social-media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, show Gaffigan and other dads demonstrating many of the Pacifica's advanced features, such as Stow 'n' Go Seating, the Stow 'n' Vac, Panoramic Sunroof and Hands Free sliding door and liftgate.

"Our new 'Street Smarts' web series is a natural extension of our 'Dad Brand' marketing campaign, and patently demonstrates how the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica outsmarts the competition with its unprecedented total of 115 innovations and class-exclusive features," said Dodge chief Tim Kuniskis, in a statement.

Edmunds says: Gaffigan's engaging style has proven popular with TV viewers, and this new web series should draw the attention of even more minivan shoppers to the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.
