2016 Nissan Maxima, Rogue or 370Z Up for Grabs in Nissan Service Sweepstakes

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Between now and September 30, Nissan owners have the chance to win a variety of prizes, including a 2016 Rogue SUV, 370Z coupe or Maxima sedan, in the eighth annual Keep Summer Rolling Service Sweepstakes.

The promotion is running at more than 1,000 Nissan dealerships in the United States.

Open to all current Nissan owners or lessees, the promotion consists of two parts.

The instant-win Online Play component will give away at least one free Nissan 12-month Security+Plus prepaid maintenance plan each day for the duration of the contest (250 altogether).

And in the Sweepstakes part, three grand-prize winners will each take home their choice of one of the three Nissan models. Grand-prize winners also get a Security+Plus plan for their new vehicles.

"Owners typically don't look forward to bringing their vehicles in for service," said Jack Wilkerson, Nissan's director of Aftersales Marketing and Sales, in a statement. "With our Nissan Keep Summer Rolling Service Sweepstakes, we've been able to engage with our customers and create a promotion they look forward to. Nissan is dedicated to vehicle service excellence, and this sweepstakes helps remind people of the exceptional customer service and offerings available at their local Nissan dealers."

To enter both Online Play and the Sweepstakes, owners and lessees should register at the Keep Summer Rolling Web site. After providing their name, address, email address and vehicle's VIN, they will then immediately receive one chance to win a Nissan vehicle and one chance for a daily prize. They can then keep returning to the site and log in for additional chances to win.

Owners or lessees who only want to enter the Sweepstakes should visit the Nissan Facebook page and complete the form with their personal information and vehicle's VIN for one chance to win a Rogue, 370Z or Maxima. Note that anyone going the Facebook route will not be allowed multiple entries and will not be eligible for daily prizes.

According to Nissan, the retail value of a Security+Plus prepaid maintenance plan is approximately $400 for vehicles 2013 or older, $450 for those 2014 or newer, $250 for a Leaf and $1,250 for a GT-R.

The approximate retail value of the 2016 Nissan Maxima sedan being offered in the contest is $35,625, while that of the 2016 370Z coupe is $35,060 and that of the 2016 Rogue SUV is $34,445.

Nissan also notes that winners of the grand prizes, to be drawn at random October 30, 2015, will be required to provide a valid U.S. driver's license and proof of auto insurance at the time of delivery, which will take place at a designated Nissan dealer.

Grand-prize winners will be responsible for paying applicable taxes, as well as license, title and registration fees, dealer preparation costs and any options or upgrades they add to the vehicle.

Additional terms and conditions can be found at the contest rules Web site.

Edmunds says: Emphasizing the importance of regular maintenance is a good idea, but giving away a free Nissan is even better.
