2018 Volkswagen Atlas Priced From $30,500

The 2018 Volkswagen Atlas seven-passenger full-size SUV, built in Chattanooga, Tennessee, will be priced from $30,500.

That's the price for the base Atlas S, which will be available at Volkswagen dealerships later this year. The Atlas Launch Edition, arriving in May, will be priced from $33,500 with front-wheel drive. Prices do not include destination fee.

The all-new Atlas will be available in five models. The base TSI S is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and comes with 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlights, rearview camera, 6.5-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control and other amenities. Adding a 3.6-liter V6 engine ups the cost to $31,900, and all-wheel drive (AWD) increases the total to $33,700.

The Atlas S Launch Edition, priced from $33,500, is available only with the V6. It includes a panoramic sunroof, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a number of other comfort, convenience and technology features. Adding AWD takes it up to $35,300.

The Atlas SE starts at $33,500 and includes heated door mirrors, automatic headlights, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, foglights, keyless entry, heated front seats and a premium infotainment system. The V6 version will be priced from $34,990, and the AWD V6 model will be priced from $36,790. There's also an Atlas SE with Technology, which includes a host of additional driver-assist and convenience features, priced from $35,690 with front-wheel drive (FWD).

Next up is the Atlas SEL model, which adds such amenities as a panoramic sunroof, an automatic liftgate, park distance control and a 115-volt power outlet in the second row. The V6-equipped SEL will be priced from $40,890 with FWD and $42,690 with AWD.

The top-of-the-line SEL Premium, available only with AWD and the V6 engine, will be priced from $48,490. It includes a configurable driver information display, a navigation system, leather seating, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, more driver-assist features and a premium Fender audio system.

A number of option packages will allow buyers to customize their Volkswagen Atlas with additional features such as captain's chairs in place of the second-row bench seats, 20-inch black aluminum wheels and several performance enhancements.
