2016 Lexus CT 200h Gets $950 Price Cut

TORRANCE, California — The 2016 Lexus CT 200h hybrid hatchback receives minor feature content updates and will arrive at Lexus dealerships this fall with a $950 price cut, Lexus told Edmunds on Tuesday.

The 2016 CT 200h starts at $32,190, including a $940 destination charge, for a reduction of 3 percent versus the 2015 model.

In other changes, CT 200h's sunroof is now a $1,100 option instead of a standard item, which Lexus said provides "more flexibility" for customers.

There are other changes as well. Vehicles equipped with the $1,925 Lexus Display Audio and $3,480 navigation system now include Lexus Enform Remote.

This feature lets owners remotely view and control certain vehicle features using a mobile app for iOS and Android devices. Key features include remote door lock/unlock; remote stop/start for the engine and climate control; vehicle finder and guest-driver monitor.

The new Lexus Enform Service Connect is also added as a standard feature. This feature lets owners remotely view information about the car through the MyLexusandBeyond mobile app for iOS smartphone users or LexusDrivers.com. Information includes maintenance alerts, warning-light notifications and a vehicle health report.

Also new for 2016 is a grille with a chrome surround.

Key competitors to the CT 200h include the Audi A3 TDI, Chevrolet Volt and Lincoln MKZ Hybrid.

Edmunds says: The 2016 Lexus CT 200h base price is now $950 lower, but it also no longer comes standard with a $1,100 sunroof. Do the math. It's not really cheaper.
