2016 Honda Civic Coupe Ad Campaign Touts Style in a Square World

TORRANCE, California — A new ad campaign for the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe aims to draw the attention of younger car buyers by showing how the car stands out in a ?square? world.

?This square world is completely disrupted when the all-new Civic Coupe arrives, flaunting a new sleek design and sporty curves,? said American Honda in a statement on Monday.

The Civic Coupe is on sale now at Honda dealerships, aimed at such rivals as the Ford Mustang and Kia Forte Koup.

The ad's message is that the ?Civic Coupe is breaking the rules of conformity,? Honda said.

Honda also is making a big social-media push with the Civic. A crowdsourced racetrack designed to highlight the performance of the Civic Coupe is under construction at #CivicDreamTrack.

Users will determine the shape of the maze for the #CivicDreamTrack and the Civic Coupe will drive it.

A video of the #CivicDreamTrack will debut across Honda social channels in mid-June.

If a fan's suggestion gets used in the making of the track, that fan will get a special social media shout-out from Honda.

Edmunds says: Here's your chance to help build a real-life test for the new Civic coupe while bolstering your social media presence.
