2016 Cadillac XTS Priced at $46,290

DETROIT — The 2016 Cadillac XTS full-size luxury sedan is on sale now at Cadillac dealerships with a starting price of $46,290, including a $995 destination charge.

The pricing reflects a $635 increase over the 2015 XTS.

The top-of-the-line 2016 Cadillac XTS VSport Premium all-wheel-drive model starts at $64,765, including shipping.

The base XTS is equipped with a 304-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine linked to a six-speed automatic transmission.

The XTS VSport Premium AWD comes with a 410-hp twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission.

This is a carryover vehicle with a few upgrades, including wireless phone charging, Apple CarPlay support, revised grille designs and new exterior colors that will be available later in the model year. They include Red Passion Tintcoat, Crystal White Tricoat and Stellar Black Metallic.

New Surround Vision incorporates cameras to provide a 360-degree overhead view around the XTS on the Cadillac CUE display.

A $2,395 Driver Assist package adds adaptive cruise control and automatic front/rear braking.

Key XTS competitors include the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Chrysler 300C.

Edmunds says: The 2016 XTS gets some key tech upgrades and a modest price increase.
