That tidbit was part of a glowing sales report from Subaru, which said it recorded the best November sales in the company's history. Subaru of America sold 45,273 vehicles last month, a 24 percent increase over November 2013.
"Traffic to our retailers remains very strong and it is encouraging to see Legacy sedan sales continue to grow," said Jeff Walters, senior vice president of sales for Subaru of America. "We also look forward to continuing our popular annual 'Share the Love' event with its tradition of giving back to the community in December."
The program runs through January 2.
Subaru will donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to the customer's choice of the following charities: ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels Association of America and National Park Foundation or a local charity selected by the Subaru dealer.
Edmunds says: Kudos to Subaru and its dealers for continuing a record-breaking run.
