The 2015 Pilot earned four stars in the front crash test, five stars in the side crash test and four stars in the rollover crash test.

The 2015 Pilot is on sale now at Honda dealerships.

Five stars is the highest rating. The Pilot's rating applies to front-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions of the SUV.

Standard safety equipment on the 2015 Pilot includes six airbags, vehicle stability control with traction control and antilock brakes.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety awarded the 2014 Pilot an overall "good" rating, but has not yet rated the 2015 Pilot.

Key competitors to the Pilot include the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer, Nissan Pathfinder and Toyota 4Runner.
