New Chrysler 100 To Arrive at Dealerships in Spring 2016

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan The new Chrysler 100 compact sedan will arrive at dealerships in spring 2016, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles announced on Tuesday.

The Chrysler 100 will target such mainstream sedans as the Ford Focus, Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla.

The size of the Chrysler lineup will double in the coming years and include a new full-size crossover vehicle set to arrive in spring 2017 and a new midsize crossover set for spring 2018. A hybrid version of the full-size crossover is coming in fall 2017.

The massive Chrysler product offensive includes a face-lift of the Chrysler 300 sedan later this year and a redesigned Chrysler Town & Country minivan in fall 2016. This will be the only minivan offered by the automaker since the Dodge Grand Caravan is being discontinued at the end of the 2015 model year. A plug-in hybrid version of the Town & Country minivan is coming in fall 2016.

The redesigned Chrysler 300 will arrive in showrooms in spring 2018.

The Chrysler 200, which just went on the market, will get a mid-cycle makeover in mid-2017.

Edmunds says: Car shoppers should not hold off on any immediate plans to buy a Chrysler product, since 2014 and 2015 are relatively quiet in terms of major changes. But things rev up in 2016-'18.
