TORRANCE, California — The 2017 Acura TLX midsize sedan is on sale now at Acura dealerships, starting at $32,840, including a $940 destination charge, according to the Acura vehicle configurator.

The five-passenger 2017 TLX is a carryover vehicle with minimal changes for the new model year.

They include the addition of three new exterior colors: San Marino Red, Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic.

Buyers have their choice of three models.

They are the base TLX with a 206-horsepower 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, a mid-range TLX with a 290-horsepower V6 engine with a nine-speed conventional automatic transmission and the high-end TLX with all-wheel drive, the V6 and the nine-speed transmission.

Key TLX competitors include the Lexus IS, Infiniti Q50 and Lincoln MKZ.

Edmunds says: Car shoppers in this popular category will find a modest price increase on the base 2017 Acura TLX.
