Highlights of the special model include a Yuzu yellow exterior color, custom-designed aero kit and a Toyota Racing Development quad tip exhaust system and lowering springs.

The cabin gets a TRD steering wheel and shift knob, along with black seats with a T-pattern and smart key with push-button start.

The special FR-S competes with high-end versions of the Ford Fiesta ST and Subaru BRZ.

Edmunds says: You'll pay a $5,000+ premium over the base model to get into the FR-S Release Series 1.0, but you'll have bragging rights to a sensational version of the coupe.
