2016 Porsche Panamera Edition Arrives at Dealerships in June, Priced at $80,995

ATLANTA — The 2016 Porsche Panamera Edition models arrive at U.S. Porsche dealerships in June, starting at $80,995, Porsche Cars North America said on Sunday.

The Panamera Edition and Panamera 4 Edition feature "a significantly expanded range of standard equipment," the automaker said.

The Panamera 4 Edition, which features all-wheel drive, starts at $85,295. Prices include a $995 destination charge.

The two new models are designed to take on such competitors as the Audi A8, BMW 7 Series, Jaguar XJ and Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

The base 2015 Porsche Panamera starts at $79,095, including shipping.

Exterior cues on the Panamera Edition models include high-gloss black trim strips on the side windows and standard 19-inch alloy wheels in Panamera Turbo II design. Cabin details include a two-tone standard interior in Black/Luxor Beige with the Porsche crest embossed on the headrests, along with 14-way front seats and rear heated seats.

A Sport Design steering wheel, door-sill plates with "Edition" and special floor mats are included.

Additional standard features include Porsche Active Suspension Management, bi-xenon headlights and Park Assist.

Edmunds says: The Panamera Edition models offer luxury car shoppers some tantalizing choices, since a lot of extras are thrown in for not a lot of money.
