REDMOND, Washington — Turn 10 Studios and the world's most-watched television program, Top Gear, have released a downloadable pack of cars for the Forza Horizon racing video game.
Forza Horizon is a spin-off title of the popular Forza Motorsport racing simulation game published by Microsoft Studios. It incorporates many different parts of the series, but isn't quite on the level of the highly anticipated Forza Motorsport 5.
For April's downloadable content (DLC), Turn 10 turned to the editors at Top Gear magazine for recommendations on what vehicles to include in the car pack.
Called the April Top Gear Car Pack, the offering includes the 2012 Aston Martin Vanquish, 2011 Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale Zagato, 2011 Ford Transit Super Sport Van, 1998 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK GTR and 2002 BMW M3 GTR.
The DLC is available now and each car will cost 240 Microsoft Points ($3) except for the 2002 BMW M3 GTR that is available as a free download. Gamers can also opt to buy the whole pack for 400 Microsoft Points, or the equivalent of $5. The release coincides with new Community Rivals Mode events in the game as well.
Forza Horizon can be purchased for $59.99 only for Microsoft's Xbox 360.
Edmunds says: Top Gear has picked some cool cars for gamers to add to their virtual stables.
