WOODCLIFF LAKE, New Jersey — The 2017 BMW M2, the smallest BMW high-performance coupe to wear the "M" motorsport badge, will be priced at $52,695, including a $995 destination charge, when it arrives soon at BMW dealerships.
This is a carryover vehicle with no price increase compared to the 2016 model.
Changes are minimal for the new model year. The Executive package is now equipped with wireless charging and a Wi-Fi hotspot with enhanced USB and Bluetooth.
The M2 was new for 2016. It is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that delivers 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque, along with a standard auto stop-start function to save fuel.
A six-speed manual transmission is standard, while a seven-speed M dual-clutch transmission is optional.
Edmunds says: BMW holds the line on 2017 M2 pricing in a move that's bound to attract buyers into BMW showrooms.
