WOODCLIFF LAKE, New Jersey — The carryover 2017 BMW 7 Series flagship luxury sedan is priced at $82,495, including a $995 destination charge, BMW of North America announced.
It is expected to arrive soon at BMW dealerships.
The starting price is for the rear-wheel-drive 2017 740i sedan and reflects a $200 increase over the 2016 model.
The 2017 BMW 750i xDrive sedan starts at $98,595, while the 2017 740e xDrive sedan is priced at $90,095. Both prices include shipping.
BMW redesigned the 7 Series for the 2016 model year, featuring greater passenger comfort and more technology.
For 2017, standard equipment now includes a Display Key.
Optional equipment includes M Sport brakes now offered as a stand-alone item and remote controlled parking. BMW said that feature will offered on the 740i, 740i xDrive, 750i and 750i xDrive from July 16 production onwards.
The base 7 Series is equipped with a 320-horsepower 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Edmunds says: The 2017 7 Series enters the fray with a minimal price increase.
