The price includes a $995 destination charge and reflects a $300 increase over the base 2016 6 Series.
The top-of-the-line 2017 BMW 650i xDrive Coupe is priced at $92,995.
This is a carryover vehicle with minimal changes for the new model year. Standard equipment now includes iDrive 5.0, along with wireless charging and a Wi-Fi hotspot with enhanced USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
BMW said smartphone integration will no longer be offered, "as all functionality of this option is now included as standard with wireless charging."
The base 640i is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 with 315 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque.
The 650i steps up to a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 that cranks out 445 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission are standard on all models, with "xDrive" all-wheel drive optional.
Edmunds says: The 2017 6 Series enters the new model year with a minimal price increase, something that should be an added incentive to luxury car shoppers.
