AUBURN HILLS, Michigan — The 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider, the convertible companion model to the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C coupe, arrives at Alfa Romeo dealerships this summer, starting at $65,495. Pricing includes a $1,595 destination charge.
The two-seat Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is equipped with a standard, removable and stowable cloth top and an optional removable carbon-fiber hardtop. Fiat-Chrysler said the hardtop will be available later in the year.
The convertible comes in seven exterior colors, including an all-new yellow called Giallo Prototipo.
Six cabin choices include black leather with red-accent stitching and new black leather with Giallo or yellow-accent stitching.
The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is equipped with a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and the Alfa TCT twin-clutch six-speed automated manual transmission.
An all-new optional Akrapovic dual-model exhaust system features dual, center-mounted tips with carbon-fiber surround.
An optional track package includes high-performance shock absorbers, performance flat-bottom steering wheel and carbon-fiber side mirrors.
The standard 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C coupe debuted last summer with a starting price of $55,195, including a $1,295 destination charge, according to Fiat-Chrysler.
Edmunds says: Italian flair and a competitive price should make the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider a favorite among convertible shoppers this summer.
