Entitled Speed Dating, the video begins with technicians installing hidden cameras inside the Mustang. Then a series of guys show up at a coffee shop for a blind date.
After chatting a bit, the woman takes each of her dates for a ride in a shiny red 2015 Mustang GT. At first, when she pretends to fumble with the manual transmission, some of the men give helpful suggestions and a couple even offer to take over for her.
"Let me drive it," boasts one. "I'll show you what this thing can do."
Following a brief drive, they end up at an empty parking lot where things speed up considerably. She floors the accelerator, the Mustang's 5.0-liter V8 growls and an impressive display of drifting changes the men's attitudes dramatically.
Some grab for handholds and look terrified, some scream at the top of their lungs and some clearly love the experience. Then there's one guy who, seeming to think he's still on a date, tries to keep up the small talk. For a while, anyway.
At the end of ride, as the tire smoke clears, she tells them: "I'm a professional stunt driver, and you've just been on Ford Mustang Speed Dating."
The same guy who made the earlier comment admits: "I guess you've shown me how to drive this thing."
And another one concludes: "That was the best first date I've ever been on in my life."
The video was made by The Work production company, which was also responsible for Ford's Spooky Halloween Car Wash prank last October and has done videos for the 2016 Chevrolet Volt and the 2016 Lincoln MKX, among others.
