2017 Bugatti Chiron Configurator Debuts

MOLSHEIM, France — The vehicle configurator for the 2017 Bugatti Chiron is live, showing the 1,500-horsepower supercar in a range of colors. The Chiron debuted at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show.

The colors include ruby red and a subtle taupe shade.

The $2.6-million Chiron is on sale now at Bugatti dealerships, with deliveries slated for the fall.

A week ago, Bugatti said orders have been taken for a third of the production volume.

The highly anticipated successor to the Bugatti Veyron, the Chiron is limited to a production run of 500 cars. Named for prewar Bugatti driver Louis Chiron, it targets the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.

Edmunds says: Prospective buyers get a better idea of their dream Chiron, thanks to the launch of the configurator.
