WASHINGTON — Volkswagen of America is recalling 2,957 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan SUVs to correct labels that are missing the required tire-pressure information and may have incorrect weight and loading information, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
"The operator may overload the vehicle, which could cause vehicle instability, increasing the risk of a crash," said NHTSA in its recall summary.
Volkswagen told federal safety regulators there are no accidents or injuries linked to the recall.
The affected Tiguans were built from January 22, 2015 to March 20, 2015.
Edmunds says: This will be a quick fix at your Volkswagen dealership, so plan on stopping in before the end of the month if you own one of these vehicles.
