MAHWAH, New Jersey — The 2015 Land Rover LR4 SUV starts at $51,325, including a $925 destination charge, reflecting a $700 price increase over the 2014 model.
The midrange 2015 LR4 HSE starts at $56,225, and the top-of-the-line 2015 LR4 HSE LUX starts at $61,525. Both prices include shipping.
The 2015 LR4 is expected to arrive soon at U.S. dealerships.
New features for the 2015 model year include standard side steps and four new exterior colors. They include Aruba, Kaikoura Stone, Montalcino Red and a new metallic white called Yulong. Yulong will be available later in the model year, the company said.
A new five-split spoke forged alloy wheel with a light silver polished finish becomes the fourth choice for 20-inch wheels for the 2015 LR4.
The 2015 LR4 also puts a premium on connectivity with Land Rover InControl Apps and smartphone integration. The company said it is offering compatibility with the latest Apple and Android smartphones. InControl Apps offers services including satellite navigation, media streaming, Internet radio and location services.
Luxury options increase with the addition of Ebony/Cirrus dual-tone Windsor leather seats and a wood- and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
This is a carryover model. The 2014 LR4 received a new powertrain: a supercharged V6 engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. A minor design update rounded out the improvements on the 2014 LR4.
