TCISM (True Cost of IncentivesSM) by Make is Edmunds.com's determination of each make's average incentive cost per retail vehicle sold in the U.S. for the months indicated. TCISM takes into account subvented interest rates and lease programs, as well as cash rebates to consumers and dealers - and is based on the proportion of vehicles for which each type of incentive was used. TCISM does not include dealer volume bonus incentives and dealer personnel bonuses.
