Electronics don't work! Remote start, camera, etc. All don't work on a 6 day old car. Customer service is brain dead and refuse to help or take responsibility.
Continuous Rattle and seat issues

2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4dr SUV (3.6L 6cyl 8A)
2018 Brand new Grand Cherokee. At 22 months the sunroof starting making a rattling noise continuously like someone was hitting a metal pipe on the glass. I told them that it's obvious the sunroof is the issue and needs to be replaced. After constantly bringing the vehicle for a total of 9 times they agreed to replace the sunroof. In between those times they blamed the following items … on the rattle: passenger head rest, panels in the trunk, removed and reattached the front bumper, took the headliner down. Jeep kept my car over 3 months trying to fix the rattle. After the sunroof was replaced I drove it out of the lot only to hear a new rattle in the front passenger corner. Turns out the clips behind the dash were loose and they told me they have no idea why it did that because they have never taken the dash out. Add the fact that the seat kept creaking at every turn. Only took them 4 times until they basically changed the seat out. The climate control also sucks in this car and doesn't even come out hot and when you split it for the upper and feet area there is almost nothing coming out at your feet. Jeep Corporate got involved and their only solution was 5% off a new jeep. Why would I make the same mistake twice. I will never purchase another Chrysler vehicle. The car does drive well, has good HP and features but what's the point if you have the car falling apart around you. Way overpriced.
Don’t buy

High Tech crash waiting to happen

2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4dr SUV (3.6L 6cyl 8A)
Purchased 04-2018 First heavy rain between the wipers and the headlights
Both myself and the passenger couldn't see the road. Terrible headlights and wipers! Purchased Rainex wipers and brighter headlights...wipers great
headlights out of wack....took to dealer 22 times still a safety hazard...just can't see...the lights aren't bright enough...Called Lemon Law won $5000 out of … court.
Electrical Engineers that designed the dash need to be replaced.
Tell me if this makes sense:
If you turn on the NAV system you MUST first turn on the radio...then once the
Map appears on the screen you have to MUTE the radio.
If you turn the radio OFF you lose the MAP.....???? Hi Tech?????
The entire dash is distracting....on my 2007 Focus and my 2005 Acura MDX
if I wanted more heat I simply turned a knob towards the RED
If I wanted to direct the airflow, I either slide the lever or touch the screen
Not on this piece of junk....how many accidents did this cause.
you must find the 'climate' icon.....then find the icon for air flow
then find the UNLIT arrow that directs the inside temp then swerve to the left
so you don't run into the telephone pole.
Same for the Radio.....Focus and Acura: punch a button to change the station
Jeep: If you don't have your screen 'ON' Push the radio knob....mute the radio....find the 'radio icon' select the new station.....swerve to avoid the tree.
If I keep this piece of junk until my lease end I will probably need a new spine.
I spend my pleasure ride avoiding even man hole covers because the tires
are inflated to 36 psi as per instructions.
the sun visors to about 6" short on each side. The windshield has hardly no tint and the dealer should have given me a pair of Ray Bans.
Make sure you emergency brake is released because you hear a single beep
PERIOD....if you miss it too bad.
Going to take the loss and get rid of this piece of junk before I take down a telephone pole or tree. Will trade and take the loss.
Update kept the vehicle only because COVID and inflation hike Used Cars 40%. Michelin tires were gone at 21,000 mi. Will sell soon when and if prices go back to normal

Which Grand Cherokee does Edmunds recommend?
There's no bad Grand Cherokee in the lineup, and picking one is largely about getting the capabilities you want or need. But if we had to choose just one, we'd go with the Trailhawk trim level. With special features such as off-road skid plates and low range gearing, it's prepared for any trail you might want to tackle. It's still useful for your daily commute, too, and can be fitted with pretty much all of Jeep's luxury-oriented features.

Driving
With many available engines and trim levels, there's a lot to choose from on the Grand Cherokee, but no matter which model you go with, off-road performance is rather good, even if handling isn't top-notch. The top-level Summit model we tested is the only Grand Cherokee that's not Trail Rated.
Comfort
The Grand Cherokee has excellent sound deadening, plus supportive seats and plenty of room to stretch out. Although we expected good things from the air suspension, it suffers in the city, struggling to soak up smaller bumps.
Interior
Jeep's most recent improvements certainly make the Grand Cherokee's cabin a nice place to be. The Uconnect infotainment system, materials and controls are at the top of the class, though the touchscreen forces too many steps for certain functions.
Utility
The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a capable tow rig and has decent cargo space. But three-row SUVs offer even more interior space.
Technology
Though the Uconnect system in the Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the most user-friendly on the market, our test vehicle had several issues with reliability during operation. Knobs often failed to respond to inputs, and the satellite radio cut out so many times that we lost track.
