NOT EVEN 5000 Miles and SHAFT DRIVE issues!

2015 Honda CR-V Touring 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl CVT)
My husband and I bought a 2015 Honda C RV Touring. We wanted the top trim, we thought we will get everything better! WRONG!!! The car besides the vibrations in idle, now is having an steering vibration after 70 miles per hour. Took it to service twice now, and the car keeps vibrating after 70 miles per hour. It had a weird knock noise in the rear axle and they discovered the drive shaft … wasn't good anymore!!! My car is not even 5000 miles yet! The had to balance and do the alignment twice. CAR STILLS SHAKING after 70 miles/ hour. Now I'm waiting for the drive shaft part to come, so they can "figure it out" again why the car is having this steering vibrations. I think I have a lemon and I will see if I can apply the law, otherwise I might trade it in for a KIA SORENTO. I know we will lose money, but I guess my patience and time are priceless! So disappointed!

If the NAV is important to you, BUY A DIFFERENT CAR. I am a rep on the road & it rarely understands my voice commands. VERY FRUSTRATING!! I do feel my diction is good & my voice is clear, but I have given up on the Nav. I had Onstar in my last car & would not have bought this car if I would have known how poorly the voice command system worked. Also, I was told I can't add an auto … tailgate & the hatch goes down quite hard. I'm sure an older woman would not be able to operate it. Its the little things I miss, after coming from a Chevy Equinox this car doesn't have the bells & whistles. I think it handles well & the gas mileage is good. If I weren't so upside down, I'd trade it tomorrow. The selling feature was how it holds its value, who cares if you don't like the car. Sorry!
Great Car, Horrible Vibration

2015 Honda CR-V Touring 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl CVT)
I checked out this car last night at a local dealership and loved everything about it before I test drove it. However, I was totally turned off by the vibration that I read in other reviews. I can certainly confirm that the vibration from the CVT is certainly there. I felt it in the seats, steering wheel, and my wife even felt the vibration by simply touching the center console. … Please stay away from this 2015 model until Honda gets their act together and fixes this issue.

In spite of reviews that say this is a great car, we found it to be considerably lacking in almost every way. We opted for the Touring model and have regretted it ever since. The lane keeper and braking assist have minds of their own. The brakes will apply themselves when it "sees" a vehicle in the next lane exceeding a 45 degree angle. Not a good feeling having your brakes applied … hard at freeway speeds that could possibly cause rear-end collisions, and a definite safety issue. Lane keeper assist constantly beeps at you even though you are in the correct portion of the lane, or will attempt to steer you down an exit ramp if you are not paying extra attention. We have had the dealer check the camera calibration and they say all is well. What is even better is that we had to take a trip to northern climates in the winter. Road spray froze into a thin layer of ice on the bumper which disabled all of the safety features. Additionally, the windshield washer fluid froze and we could not clean our windows. Not sure how they can sell cars with these features up north. We have disabled these features which renders paying the extra amount for them a waste of money. Hondas attempt with the safety features are a good start but are not ready for mass production. Interior road noise is also loud. At the price paid for this vehicle you expect more - therefore it is not a good value. The voice recognition in the navigation system is abysmal. Lastly, we are on our third battery in 2 years. Again, the dealer says everything is fine. Attempted to trade it after the latest battery issue and found their resale value is not as it was in the past. Have been a loyal Honda/Acura owner for over 20 years but this is the last one we will own.
