Ford
Ford Motor Co. has a rich tradition, selling mass-produced automobiles for more than 100 years now. As one of the Detroit Three (formerly Big Three) manufacturers, Ford is mostly known today for its trucks and SUVs. The company, though, is also beginning to electrify its fleet, offering a range of hybrids and electric vehicles. Ford currently only sells one passenger car, the iconic Mustang, one of the few muscle cars that you can still buy. It also offers SUVs in several sizes, from the compact Escape to the midsize Explorer and Edge to the full-size Expedition. For the off-road-inclined, there's the Bronco and its smaller sibling, the Bronco Sport. And there's Ford's first dedicated EV, the Mustang Mach-E. But the backbone of this lineup are the trucks, starting with the diminutive Maverick and the midsize Ranger. The full-size F-150 is perennially America's best-selling vehicle and is even offered as an EV, the F-150 Lightning. Then there are the heavy-duty Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450, along with two sizes of Transit vans (Transit and Transit Connect), as well as an electric van, the E-Transit.
