2025 Ford Escape ST-Line Elite 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid EVT)
Got 2025 Escape while my 2017 is in shop. Yikes. Dial to change gears! I need a whole hand gear changer -- fingers not that agile. Then one little tiny light between me and disaster in shifting gears. When sun comes through window, even that little tiny light disappears. I wanted a new Escape -- not now!! I will look for car with whole hand gear shift, or something finger … friendly. Also, hybrid motor has sound when accelerating and slowing down that sounds like a haunted house. I prefer a motor sound.

2025 Ford Escape Platinum 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid EVT)
I was very proud of my 2018 Ford Escape for its excellent gas mileage and Then we bought the 2025 Ford Escape Hybrid! True, I am retired so I do less driving than I used to, but So Far with regular driving I have to put gas in my car about once a month! I don’t do much freeway driving anymore, but just to check it out we took it for a spin that involved uphill and freeway driving and all … was well. More than enough power to get you where you want to go. This one doesn’t have as many upgrades, no leather seats or sunroof this time, but the car is so easy to drive that I Love it anyway. And who can argue with not paying for a lot of gas at today’s gas prices? It’s so easy to drive and the new touch screen is something I thought would take me some time to get used to, but it was just a few days. My Only disappointment with this car is that 2026 is the Last year. This is the first time I have ever bought the same make and model car twice in a row. At today’s gas prices how can you Not Love a car that has plenty of power and gets around 40 MPG !? So if you think the Ford Escape sounds interesting, the time is NOW. After 2026, there won’t be anymore. 😭
