  • Worst Service Department Hands Down!

1 out of 5 starsby Kris on 05/13/2025

Worst Service department I've ever dealt with. They do no honor appointments. Your car sits there for weeks without being looked at. They don't offer riders or loaners. They do not knw how to communicate with customers. Very unprofessional and rude. Do not take your car there for service!

  • Very Disappointed

1 out of 5 starsby Rick Coleman on 10/18/2023

I took my vehicle in because the engine light indicated there was a problem, it stayed parked there for seven days having nothing done to it at all, costing me 200.00 in travel having to use alternative transportation to work, Danny (Service Advisor) stated that he had issues communicating with Carshield, to that end, I reached out to CarShield myself, I had no problems getting someone, I was told that the computer issue Danny said they were having was non existing, they were able to process claims, but for argument sake, had this been the reason, any reasonable prudent person would have reached out to the customer, explained the problem, leaving me with options to pay out of pocket for the repairs. I wasn't given that courtesy, infact, I called three times, each callI went unanswer even after leaving voice-mail trying to ascertain what was going on, I was told he'd call me back in 20 minutes, I had to call back 90 minutes later, or I would have been disregarded yet again, so I made the decision to retrieve my vehicle without having the issues resolved, upon entering the facility, I was not greeted at all, Danny directed me to the counter to retrieve my keys from the cashier with total disregard after doing so, it was unprofessional, demeaning and lacked character. I, after having my vehicle serviced there the first time, thought, finally, a great place to have my vehicle serviced by professional and courtesy people, It was wrong of me to have assumed that, it turned out to be such a bad experience, to this end, I've made the decision never return there for any reason whatsoever, I truly was not treated as a valued customer.

  • Spent over $1500. Car still not fixed. Terrible Service expereince

1 out of 5 starsby Tina on 06/23/2023

I have taken my car to the dealership 4 times and I am still having an issue with the shifter. They charged me and then strong-armed me that unless I pay for a rental they chose to provide me I would not receive my car back. I have yet to speak to the service manager that I requested to call me. They also charged me more than what I was quoted over the phone. The service agent looked at me and lied to my face.

  • They don’t know what they are doing

    1 out of 5 starsby Searra88 on 09/24/2022

My car needed service because it would not start. I replaced the battery but my car had a second battery. My car was towed to rt 46 keep and the service advisor said that it may be the both batteries. When I explained that I had replaced the main battery he said he would call me back. He never did for a couple of days. I called every day and he would not answer or he would have the girls in the front tell me that he is still working on my car. Which was a lie because my car was sitting in the back lot. Then finally I was able to get a hold of someone by showing up to the dealership and the service advisor tells me that it is my engine and will have some one look at my car to call him the next day. So I call and he has someone tell me that they are still trying to figure out was is wrong with my car. After 10 days I had enough and went back to the dealership and demanded answers. They finally had someone look at my car and of course it was the second battery. Why did it take more then 10 days how incompetent is this advisor and the tech. Lost days from work. 1000. For rental and then a 300 dollar bill when this all could of been resolved I. A day. This is unacceptable service.

  • You Will Be Taken For A Ride...but not in a good way.

1 out of 5 starsby Nate on 08/27/2022

Route 46 Jeep's service center is not to be trusted. I was charged $2,406 to replace a leaking radiator and a timing cover in my 2015 Chrysler Town and Country mini van. When I got my vehicle back, the a/c no longer worked and a few weeks later I found out that the work they claimed to have done and parts they claimed to have replaced wasn't actually done or replaced. The timing cover had not been replaced and I was advised it has nothing to do with the radiator. I was a customer of Rout 46's service department since 2016 and assumed they would treat me honestly and fairly. That didn't happen. Danny, a manager in the service department was the person I was dealing with and he said that since I had been a customer for so long they would take care of the problems and get me a fair deal. A few days later he called me and went through the issues and quoted very fast(not leaving room for questions) and said that I didn't have many options and that the bill would be $2,635. I felt that I needed to go with his recommendation so I ok'd the work. I had second thoughts about the work and called back later and was told that the work had already begun on the car. I let them complete the work and he said he managed to get the bill reduced to $2,406. Part of the discount simply came from removing the diagnostic charge that they wave anyway if you allow them to do the repairs. When I picked up the car I had to immediately return to the dealership because my a/c no longer worked. When I brought the vehicle in, the a/c was working well and blowing cold but after their service, the a/c no longer worked. Route 46 had just repaired the a/c in the car in May. Two weeks after the radiator repair, I had another mechanic look at my car and they advised me that the work that was claimed by Danny(the service manager)at Route 46 Jeep as being done, had not actually been done. Route 46 replaced the radiator and that was it. Of course I was embarrassed, especially when I found out that the work that was done should have only cost a few hundred dollars, not forgetting the fact that I had to bring the vehicle back to have the a/c fixed again. I told Danny at the start of my initial visit that I didn't have much money but that didn't seem to stop him and Router 46 from taking me for a long expensive ride. I will never go back to Route 46 Jeep in Little Falls and I hope this review can serve as a warning to everyone to avoid this dealership.

  • Terrible service department. Lazy, fake mechanics

1 out of 5 starsby Cmartens on 05/08/2022

Horrible service department. They refused to honor my factory warranty. Their claim: “fuses were ripped out of fuse box and too many after-market gadgets and wires hanging all over”. The truth: the fuse box is pristine. What does a “ripped out fuse” even look like? Why would anyone “rip out” a fuse? The one and only after-market “gadget” is Oracle brand halo LED rings. A simple little add-on. There were two wires coming from that from when I disconnected them in preparation for this service. Two wires. Not many. They were neatly tucked away on side of engine compartment which is very neat and clean and tidy. I disconnected because I didn’t want them to interfere with testing and repair of starter issue. They were not connected whatsoever to battery, fuse box or body. The fake, wanna-be mechanics lied and made up ridiculous allegations.

  • TERRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT

1 out of 5 starsby Jobama on 02/11/2022

So, Where do I start. I took my car to shop at my scheduled appointment time. My car was in the show for 13 DAYS before they even looked at the car to figure out what the issue is. When they FINALLY looked at my car, they gave me a $7k price tag for just parts. When speaking with the service person, he assured me that he checked after market, everywhere, and couldnt get parts for less. Air Shock $2600 Transfer Case $3000 Upper Control Arms $1100 While speaking to him, I googled some of the parts and found genuine parts online for much much less. less than half of the cost. So, I picked up my car and even with having to wait 2 weeks for them to look at my car, I was charged $450 diagnostic fee. I took it to another place. For the same things to be fixed, parts and labor, $2800 to fix EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. This dealer was not just trying to make some money, but they were outright trying to rob me. The worst part is that they made it seem like they REALLY tried to help me out. TRIED to get me a deal. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
  • Extreme Poor Service

    1 out of 5 starsby anonymous116 on 05/14/2016

I brought my new 6 month old Jeep into be checked for a rattling noise in the sunroof track. I was told it should take 2-3 days by the service advisor assigned to me. The service advisor said he would call me with an update in 24 hours. Do you think I received a call? After calling and numerous VM later on day 4 I was informed the service advisor had a death in the family and will be out of work. My response was I am sorry to hear but that doesn't mean my vehicle should sit until he gets back. Once I got a hold of the service manager I was informed the whole track had to be replaced. He would place the order. Come to find the tracks are back ordered (on a brand new vehicle). The manager was unable to provide a timeline of when the track would come in. 16 days later I was contacted by my the original advisor to come pick up the vehicle. I go and "pick up" test the sunroof and it doesn't close. As I begin to realize the sunroof is stuck open I notice the plastic headers on both sides of the Jeep are falling off. I immeditely go back inside and they are in shock. They take the Jeep back into the garage and advise they would call me once its fixed AGAIN. Next day they call to tell me everything was fixed and to come pick the Jeep up. Once back at the dealership I test the sunroof visor first. It doesn't close at all. I don't even test the sunroof before going into the service department to get a service advisor because naturally mine is not there. the advisor comes out and is in shock yet again. He then asks me to try the sunroof itself. As I press open. This horrific sound of crunching metal occurs. The service manager in shear panic as I am covering my head. We both look up to find the track completely folded up. Needless to say I am still without my 2016 Jeep Cherokee that I have had for 6 months.
  • I had an issue

    5 out of 5 starsby coachmac1 on 04/14/2016

Bought a 2014 Jeep Cherokee trail Hawk. Had to get a key made because the previous owner only had 1 key. Sal in service went the extra mile getting the key and performing some necessary updates to my car. Every question and concerned was addressed.
  • Great Service but the secret is out so be patient

  • BE AWARE AND CAREFUL

1 out of 5 starsby Leobotelho on 09/24/2015

Don't take your car for service in this place unless you don't care about your car and personal belongings. I took my 2014 Grand Cherokee for regular maintenance service at Route 46 Jeep and they returned my car after a whole day with it still with the same problems it went in. I had to bring the car to service again two days later. DO NOT LEAVE ANY OF YOUR BELONGINGS INSIDE OF YOUR CAR. THEY WILL ROB YOU. I HAD CAN FULL OF QUARTERS FOR PARKING TAKEN AND MY RADAR DETECTOR. I noticed that the glove compartment and central console were opened and stuff moved, but I thought it was necessary to connect the engine computer, since the faulty light was on. No, it was to find personal possessions that they could take. I hated. I will drive all way to Jersey City or Teteboro to prevent future incidents.
  • Avoid their service department at all costs.

STAY AWAY FROM THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT!! I have a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 that i brought in for service. To be specific repair of front right control arm, drive axle, and strut. As of today they have my car for a combined 20 DAYS in the last 6 weeks!!!!! ( DAVE was my service adviser) After the repairs which initially took 15 days i had to bring it back because the new strut was squeaking. They now how it 5 additional days after my appointment date totaling 20 days now. When i ask for a courtesy car, each time they told me there are none available for the next two weeks. They don't keep you updated, ignore your calls, don't return messages, when you reach them they keep telling you they are working on the car but when you ask them whats wrong with the car exactly they tell you they don't know yet ( its on the lift), give you excuses such as "We are behind. It will be finished tomorrow. Almost finished. My parts truck didn't come in till 1PM today. We cant find the problem. We have to do more research into what may be wrong. Your warranty company may investigate the issue and say you got into an accident resulting in you paying them back for previous repairs." The most popular thing they say is " ill get back to you in about an hour" Never call you back. Than you call several times and the service adviser doesn't get back to you.. Finally you're told he left for the day.!!! The assistant manager is of little help because he only convinces the service adviser to call you, and it only goes back to the same excuses.... I am at a point where i am coming in there tomorrow, demanding my car, calling the president of the company, and calling corporate. Terrible service from this location. Once i get my truck back I am NEVER coming back here again!!!
  • Great Service

The service was quick and there were no problems at all. Definately the best car dealer experience. Highly recommend to all others buying a car.
  • Terah Mingo

1 out of 5 starsby Terah on 12/21/2014

I brought my car in because my accelerator got stuck which almost caused me to get into an accident and the advisor Juan Hernandez said that I need to get a trans flush, oil change, and fuel injection. Juan also stated that if I don't get the trans flush my car accelerator will keep getting stuck. All together I would have had to pay $550.. I drive a 2013 chrystler 300c AWD with 31,400 miles. My car is still under warrantee. Why would I have to pay for something that may be a recall or possibly get me into a accident... Safety is suppose to be first.
  • AWFUL SERVICE DEPT

    1 out of 5 starsby Vixs1979 on 09/09/2014

I had the worst experience ever today with the service department. My oil change took 8.5 hours! I called last week to make an appointment for my oil change, I showed up today at 10am for my appointment, by the way I'm also 8 months pregnant, my car was taken in and I was told by Dan it would take about 2.5 hours and he would call me. Luckily I had my mom run some errands with me for that time, 3 hours passed and I received no call. I went back to the dealership and Dan informed me that the oil filter needed for my car was not in stock so they were waiting for it to be delivered. No apology, no update on time, in fact he walked away from me into an employee only door as he was talking to me. I left and waited another 2 hours until I called the back, at that time I was connected to Dan's voicemail, I left him a message to please call me back, no call an hour later so I called again! I was told Dan "stepped out" and I was connected to a female who told me my car wasn't ready yet. I asked her what was the point of making an appointment a week in advance if they weren't going to be prepared with the necessary parts, her explanation "We don't do that so in case you don't show up for your appointment then we aren't left with a part we can't use" ??? WHAT??? Another 3 hours later, my car was ready, still no call or update during that time, a grand total of 8.5 hours. The worst part was I went to the dealership 3 times and called 4 times, at no time did anyone apologize for how long it was taking or even call me with an update, did I mention I'm also 8 months pregnant? It was the most awful experience I have ever had with any dealership in my life. 8 months pregnant, 8.5 hour oil change, 3 trips to the dealership, 4 phone calls, NO UPDATE, NO APOLOGY. I would never suggest this place for purchase of a car, even if the sales people are decent, you will have to deal with the awful service department for years after!
  • Service is a RIP-OFF

    1 out of 5 starsby rossg10 on 10/14/2011
    updated 05/31/2025

The service department is a RIP-OFF. $130 to "diagnose" the cars problem, i.e. plug the computer and pull the codes off. I paid it because I was told the problem would be covered under the extended warranty and the 130 would go towards the warranty deductible. Well it wasn't covered and they quoted me $1300, over 600 for an Electronic Throttle Control, 400 for a transmission service and over 200 for changing spark plugs. The plugs were bad because they did not change them at 30000 miles when they were supposed too. Took the car to my local mechanic who did the SAME EXACT JOB, for $614! He even ordered the Throttle from the dealer! In the past while the car was still under the original factory warranty, they wanted to do a "throttle body cleaning" at least 3 times. Something that is barely required at 100,000 miles. A rip-off, plain and simple. Received a recall notice months ago, called to bring it and was told they didn't have an appointment for at least 2 weeks. They could not be bothered with work that did not pay them. Exact words. Take your business elsewhere.
  • Worst Service Imaginable

I bought a used vehicle from this dealer in August of 2011. In 5 months it has been back and forth to be serviced for the same thing 8 times. Now we are being told that the autostart needs to be taken out to possibly fix the problem and they will not put in a new one (which is one of the features that was a perk for us buying the car). In our attempts to get the engine, stabilitrack and 4wd lights off the vehicle has been sent back to GMC twice out of the 8 times and now they are saying the remote start is causing the problems with the lights coming on and removing it (not that it works anyway because it doesnt) MIGHT fix it. When you call them, they never call you back. When you get a courtesy/loaner car, they charge you $40 plus dollars a day and say "oh, it is really a rental and the $100 deposit that was placed on your credit card will be used to pay for it. Deceptive practices!! I would never use or recommend this dealer for either sales or service. They are untruthful and will not call you back when you try to reach out to them. Drive on by and go someplace else or you will be in for a world of nightmares/headaches!
  • DON'T GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE, WARNING

1 out of 5 starsby mattduche on 07/29/2011
    updated 05/31/2025

Ok, so if you actually make the mistake in buying a new Chrysler which seem to all be plagued by electronic problems as I read across the internet... DO NOT BUY IT AT THIS DEALERSHIP. Leaving my Finance department horror story out of this review, let's concentrate on the SERVICE department and the lies they too impose on customers. So my convertible top to my Sebring won't go back up, I am 99% sure its a relay for my passenger side window that is basically holding up the entire process, no big deal, one relay for a window switch, replace it, half hour job, maybe an hour. This was three days ago. I have called them twice a day every day since, "HOWS MY CAR DOING?" Oh the part still didn't come in. Mind you I have a real job, I have a real family to try and support, and now I have NO CAR, no loaner when asked because the job they promised would take a day tops. I'm not moving into the fourth day of them sitting around NOT fixing my car "waiting for the relay" which I can buy at autozone as they either lie or just simply do not care. Let's not forget that this all occured in my opinion because the service department guy JUSTIN along with "DAVE" tried to get me to pay close to $2600 in OTHER unrelated repairs, like two new tires, $600, alignment $500, brake pads, check this out $800! BRAKE PADS $800. I Emphatically declined any service at that price, and my one day job has now become low priority for them. I will be taking a taxi to the dealership tomorrow and will not leave until my car is back in my possession, fixed or not. I'll take it to a different Chrysler dealer because from the day I bought that car they've been running scams on me, refer to my nightmare with the Finance Department and Lying Sales floor manager who raised my interest rate to 6% from 2%. Just lies from everyone that works there, literally I walk in there expecting to be lied to. Bad business model, I hope you all heed my warning and find a car elsewhere, a more honest place that could use the business as opposed to this house of cards run by [violative content deleted]. I'd actually do background checks on people that work there if I could to prove a point, but hey, that's the car business right? What a joke. Shame on this dealership for taking advantage, shame.

I had an awful experince with this dealership. I was fed lie after lie. I was given the run around and no one ever returned my calls. The general manager yelled at me after I expressed my concerns. I will never deal with them again.
