2020 Chevrolet Equinox
I've put 5k miles on the 2020 equinox, this is the most uncomfortable car I have ever driven and even worse to ride in, the seats are narrow, the sides stab you in the back, Everytime you get out the plastic seat airbag jabs you in the thigh so much I have a bruise, the passenger seat adjust lever is in a PISS POOR location so if you sit with your feet close to the seat it's buried in … your calf!
Everything is cheap looking plastic and scratches with the slightest bump of anything else even plastic
The electronic gas pedal is horrible! You can barely touch it and it takes off like a rocket ship, and other times you step on it and it has a good 2-5 second lag before it even revs up,
The lane assist turns the wheel WAY too much, so you bounce line to line, if it even sees the lines..... The pedestrian sensor picks someone up 40 ft away, but the back up sensors won't notify you if your too close at times, other times its way to notifying!
the car reminds you to check your back seat every time you turn the car off, and honks at you for everything, there's also a red light in the driver's view that lights up if a car gets too close or a pedestrian is near the road, which is awesome, UNTIL the flashing red light lights up the ENTIRE windshield and reflects straight into your eyes so you can't see the hazard or person ahead......
The Bluetooth on the radio just stops playing in the middle of music, so you have to disconnect it and reconnect it a few times if your driving more than an hour, the speakers crackle, and sound way too over powered, radio gas no preset EQ's!
The back up camera picture quality is about a 4/10 which is pretty good considering everything else is 0/10
The auto brights don't turn off with other cats on coming until they are way too close and already blinded
The door seals don't seal which causes moisture on the windshield
Over all I would rate this car at ZERO if possible, it's a over priced P. O. S
BUY SOMETHING ELSE! while I was at the dearship I over heard they were having issues with the motors and they have had 3 comeback needing new engines.... So if you buy this make regular appointments with your local chiropractor before you sign the purchase agreement, and get every warranty available!
