The redesigned 2022 NX is a small SUV akin to the Acura RDX and Mercedes-Benz GLC. This new NX 250 is the entry-level version and joins the more powerful NX 350 and two hybrids, the NX 350h and NX 450h+. The NX's model designations refer to what's under the hood. The NX 250 is the entry-level model and comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing a modest 203 horsepower.

This year's NX has a revamped cabin highlighted by a wide central display canted toward the driver. A 9.8-inch touchscreen is standard and can be upgraded to a 14-inch screen with a combination of virtual and physical controls for the climate system. This is a massive departure from other Lexus models, which usually are equipped with a central display mounted far from the driver and controlled by touchpad. The Lexus NX 250 also comes with a ton of helpful tech and driver-assist features.

2022 Lexus NX 250 models

The 2022 NX 250 comes in one of three trim levels: Base, Premium and Luxury. All models are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (203 horsepower, 184 pound-feet of torque). Brand new Lexus NX250 with not even 400 miles is giving me issues already that the dealer doesn’t know what’s wrong with it. They were able to see that the car turned itself off in the computer logs, but couldn’t figure out why it would do that.
