    I am writing to give my salesman, Sean Moran a good review. He greeted me and my family when we got to the dealership and listened to what my husband and I were looking for in a vehicle. He worked hard for us from the moment we said hello to the moment we said good bye and drove off in our new car. Most of the time car shopping is not a pleasant experience, but Sean made it a good experience. My family will be coming back to Lindsay the next time we need a car and we will be asking for Sean Moran to assist us.

    I had the best car buying experience ever!!! During my pregnancy with my third child, my husband and I decided that we needed a bigger vehicle to fit our growing family. We did our research and visited many other local dealerships around the Manassas, Woodbridge, and Fairfax area in search for the perfect VAN or SUV to fit our needs. Keep in mind that I was pregnant at the time, so I did not have any tolerance for my time being wasted with BS! And, I was not looking forward to getting a "VAN!" But, we decided to check out Lindsay CDJR in Manassas, after my bubble tea craving run with our little ones. Upon our arrival, we were greeted my Mr. John Choi. He showed us around the lot and helped us compare our options between the Jeep Cherokee, the Dodge Durango, the Chrysler Town and Country, and the Dodge Grand Caravan. He was very professional, very informative and knew a lot about the cars, and kept straight to the point. He was not pushy, and did not force us to get a car that we did not want, which I really liked. With Mr. Choi's excellent customer service, my husband and I purchased the Dodge Grand Caravan Anniversary Edition.. Months later, we are still very happy with our vehicle and the customer service we've received. My kids enjoy riding in the Grand Caravan equipped with the DVD players for their entertainment. And, I am definitely enjoying my butt warmers during this winter season! I most definitely recommend going to Mr. John Choi at Lindsay CDJR to purchase your vehicle!!

    As with many people, car shopping can be like going to the dentist. A sometimes painful experience but something the must be done. Well it was that time again for us, so after work my husband and I ventured out on our mission to buy. We went to several dealerships. One in Warrenton, never called back regarding a basic price information on a specific vehicle. The other at Tyson's Corner, was unfriendly and insulted us with an extremely low-ball offer on our trade-in. The third night out, we were tired and a bit discouraged as we drove into Lindsay located in Manassas. We were welcomed by David Chute a salesman that we had contacted earlier with questions. It was quite cold out, 13 degrees, but it didn't seem to slow David down. He walked my husband all around the lot, answering any question that was presented. He was friendly, NOT pushy, and very knowledgeable. We knew the vehicle we wanted and the price we had in mind. We understood it was a stretch so Fino Saladina the sales manager came in to assist. Fino and David were determined to help us out. Fino not only met us where we were, at but presented us with an offer that we couldn't refuse, Lifetime Bumper to Bumper! They were honest and upfront, no haggeling back and forth. No insulting low-ball offers on our trade-in. Next we quickly moved on to the finance manager, Michael Kim. This guy really knows his stuff. He found us a lower rate than even our credit union could offer. Again, no pressure on additional add-ons. We walked into his office at 10:05pm and were shaking hands and leaving at 10:32pm. What an amazing experience! We really appreciate being treated like a "client" rather than a quick sale. Thank you folks at Lindsay! We love our new RAM Truck and will be back!

  • Cheap switch and bait tactics

    Cheap switch and bait tactics that destroy the experience of buying a new car. I looked up a specific car, and the corresponding stock number along with the quoted internet price on their own website. I called up the dealer, spoke with Chris Lamb and his manager Ronaldo. Both of them confirmed the availability and the internet quoted price for the car. They asked me to come in and assured me a 'no-haggle' experience. The real experience was the opposite. They wanted to add thousands more to the price that is quoted on their own website for the exact same car (specific stock number). Mind that these extra dollars are not the freight, tax, tag or the processing fee, which I was expecting anyways.. When I asked for the reason, they referred to the footnote on their website, which does not mention about any additional costs. On the contrary it talks about additional incentives that could be available to bring the price further down. On the whole, I felt cheated and wasted my time (several hours). The internet price is scam to just bring (bait) people in.
  • Superior Service and Outstanding Personnel

    This was the best and easiest car buying experience we've had in the past 40 years. As soon as I submitted my online search, John Choi contacted me to see if there was anything he could help me with. Once we walked in to Lindsay CDJR, we were met by Marcus Dejesus. Since John was with another customer, Marcus took care of us, explained the everything about the Jeep Cherokee and took us out for a test drive. He took his time to ensure both my wife and myself fully understood all the functions of the vehicle. Once we were ready to purchase, Michael Kim went out of his way to ensure we got the right financing and rates available. John and Michael ensured that everything was also explained to my wife in Korean so she fully understood the process, financial plans and programs available. John and Marcus even delivered the vehicle to us since we were in a rental and my wife does not have enough experience driving at night. Once delivered, they went above and beyond to explain everything to my wife in Korean while also answering my questions about the vehicle. This was truly a First Class experience. John and Marcus is a great team who knows their stuff. Thank you Lindsay CDJR for having great professionals on your staff. Although there is a dealership near our residence, we will drive the extra 20 miles to get service done on our car, I will definitely recommend Lindsay CDJR to all my friends.

  • Promises were broken

    Wow....where do I start? They buying experience started off okay. There were things that needed to be fixed. I have to admit, some of those things were fixed. However, the other issue was not fixed because I was told that BMW had to fix the liftgate. I was also told that they would take it to BMW to get a diagnostic but that was never done. I had to take it to BMW to get the diagnostic done. Before I took it to BMW, my sales guy told me that they would pay for the repairs (done by BMW). Now they don't want to pay BMW, they can magically fix the issue now. I live over an hour away and find it very disheartening that I have to drive that far when i was told that the BMW dealer near my home would fix the issue. BMW was prepared to fix the issue but now Lindsay don't want to pay. I feel awful about this whole situation. I am regretting buying from them.
  • Sales Manager Reneged on Signed Buyers Order

    I spent five hours today trying to buy a pickup from Lindsay Dodge Jeep Ram. I had several bad experiences during that time. The worst came at the end when the sales manager refused to deliver the Ram 1500 diesel. This despite the fact that we had a signed buyers order, financing agreement, DMV power of attorney, etc. I even had the license plates and paperwork in hand when the finance guy came up to me, grabbed the paperwork and ran away. I was then ushered back into the finance room with the finance guy muttering something about the wrong truck. When I got tired of waiting and wandered back up to the managers office, I was informed that I could not have the truck at the negotiated price. I was told that Virginia law means that the sale is not official until I take possession. The reason for them reneging on the contract was that the final manager did not realize we were negotiating for a diesel. Apparently they were not prepared to discount as deeply on a diesel. This final episode followed two earlier issues. First, the internet advertised price includes a wide array of rebates (lease, trade in, military, and two others) that added up to about $4000 that I did not qualify for. The web site cleverly does not enumerate these but merely says not all people will qualify for all rebates included in the price. The other alarming event was that the first signed buyers order was modified (by $1000) after I signed it and before it was passed on to the finance guy with no notification. I complained about this and the price was corrected and we signed a second buyers order with the original price. I expect a little bit of nonsense from a car dealership. But this dealership takes the cake. I am used to feeling a bit of regret when I take ownership, not knowing if I got the best deal or not. This is the first time I saw such an extreme case of seller's regret.

  • Not at all recommended

    I have never written a review in the past, but this calls for one. if for nothing else it may save one or more people from having to go through the pain of working with Lindsey Chrysler Jeep in Manassas. I bought a Jeep in 2008 and have, as expected, had to take it in for service and inspection a couple of times a year. The problem is each time my experience get worse. The service staff has gotten worse with the new people in place, and they can be down right rude and dismissive to the customer. Often I have been over charged for services, even when the "check engine" light has come on they find nothing, reset the light and then charge me a ton of money only to have to bring it back in a few days. They cannot seem to get work done when promised and you can expect to be without a vehicle for multiple days, even for minor things. They appear to be completely disorganized and will "promise" to call you on a certain day or time and you will not get a call. You will have to call them, then they will not know what's going on and promise to call you back ... you'll wait 4 to 6 hours and then have to call them again. I can go on, but what's the point ... you get the idea. I would *NOT* recommend Lindsey for service or sales. Unfortunately, they have disappointed me so many times, even after giving them many, many chances, I will never buy another Chrysler product because of my experience with them. If I could give the zero stars here I would ... I don't think they deserve even one.

  • False advertising!

    I was in the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. They had one with the features I wanted listed on their website AND cars.com at $62k. Being out of state, I was in the process of booking an airline ticket to fly there. At the last minute, the sales manager came on the phone and said the price was now $70k. Really?? How do you incorrectly list a car on 2 sites by $8k?! Incompetent management!

    I was in the market for a new model Dodge Charger R/t and after stopping by a few dealers in MD and sifting through scores of online ads, I found out about Lindsay Dodge. I figured it would be another annoying sale pitch that took entirely too much of my time but it wasn't. They laid everything out flat about the sale prices and were willing to get the price to what I thought was comfortable. *They helped me target the sale price! not the monthly payment* They also went over dealer discounts that applied to me. In the end, buying a new 2014 at Lindsay was less that a used 2011 in MD. John C. is outstanding. I recommend him personally. I didn't interact with any other salespeople. John, however, earned the sale. And he didn't use cheap tactics to get it. Even though its an hour away (which is a lot of gas in the R/T) I would definitely come back and do more business. And thanks again John for mailing the glasses back I left in the car. Oakley's aren't cheap.

    Sales persons over this location doesn't even no how to treat a customer. The price they keep in their website is no were near the original price we may think of buying. At least you have to keep 5000 $ more than what they show in their website. I don't even recommend of thinking of going to this location.

  • Great Trustworthy Dealership

    I visited Lindsay Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Manassas after viewing an autotrader add for a 2013 Dodge Dart Limited. The vehicle was listed at an exceptionally low price so I assumed that something was wrong. I couldn't have been more wrong. After a few phone calls, I was ready to visit the dealership. I took a day off work and drove to Manassas (about 1.5 hours away from where I live) to view the vehicle and hammer out a deal. My experience was great! Samuel R. worked with his finance team to get us very close to our ideal vehicle price. Samuel went the extra mile by helping me to learn how to drive a stick shift before I left the lot (this was my first manual transmission vehicle). I'm nearly two months into my purchase and I have to say that I couldn't be happier. My wife will be needing a new car in the next couple of years and I'm sure that Lindsay will be our first stop!

    i purchased a car back in January and the salesperson that i worked with was Samuel R. He gave me wonderful service from the time that i drove onto the dealership. He gave me a briefing on the car and we went for a test drive. He didnt try to change my mind on the car like other sales people and he was honest about everything, and if he didnt know something he went an got me an answer. He knew his work and while i waited for the processing he was respectful and he kept me entertained. i would recommend anyone to him. He did and outstanding job and i am happy that he was my salesperson. if i could i would give him 10 stars. Although i was not satisfied with the dealership service itself. i would give them a 1

    First of all, I wanted to say I LOVE MY NEW JEEP!!! I can't believe I have lived this long without an awesome car like this! I already started shopping for accessories and have had the top down even with all the rain. Secondly, I wanted to thank you for the great experience on Monday night. I know we drove a hard bargain but I am happy with the deal we worked out in the end. Apple FCU was able to get my rate down and drop the payment, so it all worked out great! Phil and Rinaldo stayed very late to get me out the door and never once made me feel like I was taking up your time. I appreciate that and everything else they did so I will definitely be recommending you to all of my friends and family.

    I just purchased a nissan maxima from this dealer in January 2014. i am not happy with the service. since i had it i had to take my vehicle back 4 times and the problem still is not fixed. so now i am forced to come out of the pocket for something that should have been fixed, and the dealer is not trying to.

When purchased, your vehicle had already passed inspection with the rear brakes at 50%, which exceeds inspection criteria for MD and VA, therefore, it was not necessary to install new brakes. The squeaking noise is not a safety issue, it is simply a result of pad to rotor contact.     I just received a call from a Sales Associate regarding my online offer for the 2014 Overland. I was told that I have to come into the Dealership to actually purchase the car. I informed the Sales Associate that I have already test driven this car and I am now looking for the best deal. I asked him again if I can purchase the car online/phone and he told me NO. I then informed him that I will never go into this dealership and I will take my business elsewhere. I will never recommend your dealership to anyone. Thank you and have a good evening, Greg

  • Best Car Buying Experience to Date

    My husband and I purchased our 2014 Jeep Cherokee this past Sunday at Lindsay Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Manassas and it was by far the best car buying experience we have ever had. We pulled into the lot and were immediately greeting by Dave C. who was pleasant and friendly. We were standing in front of a "wish" vehicle that was priced out of our budget. Instead of Dave trying to push us into something we couldn't afford he began telling us about the improvements Jeep has made over the years and provided us a bit of history about the Lindsay dealership. Dave made a point to ask us our price point and if he could show us something he thought would fit us perfectly. He was absolutely correct... our Jeep Cherokee is perfect. Dave took the time to show us EVERYTHING on this vehicle. Not just the "bells and whistles" but all the small details that many salesman leave out. Many times a salesman will begin to focus and direct everything towards either the husband or the wife... to the person he feels he has to win over to make the sale. NOT DAVE, he made us both feel as if he truly cared about selling us a top notch vehicle that met both my husband's and mine's wish lists. The great experience didnt stop with Dave though, everyone from John who did our financing to a gentleman whose name I cannot remember but made a point, in the freezing cold and flurries, to come outside and thank us for our business and make sure we were absolutely treated with respect and satisfied. The excellent customer service hasn't ended yet either even though the ink is dry. Dave made sure to personally call me later in the week to check in a see how I was liking the car and if it had made my commute a little easier to bear. In addition, he promptly responded to an email I sent him shortly there after asking if an item we accidentally left in our old car could be retrieved. Not only did he go and retrieve it but also found and saved a CD we left in the car that I didn't even realize had been left behind. I simply cannot say enough how wonderful our interactions and experience with Lindsay Manassas was. I would recommend anyone that is looking to buy a car to most certainly visit Lindsay Manassas and even more specifically, to ask for Dave C.

  • Bait and Switch

    BUYER BEWARE! We drove down to take advantage of their special internet pricing of the vehicle we were looking to buy. When we got there the vehicle wasn't clean and ready as promised by the internet sales person. When negotiations for the vehicle started it became clear that the " internet pricing" consisted of rebates most of the general population would never qualify for. There is nothing next to the price indicating this fact. They're were also not offering what our trade in would be worth. ONLY BUY FROM THEM IF YOU LIKE BAIT AND SWICTH TACTICS. I cannot recommend this dealer.

  • Could have been a good experience, but was not

    What started as a good experience went the wrong direction between the time we agreed on price and the time I had to write the check. My son and I drove for 2 hours to get to the dealer as they had a good price on the SUV he was looking for. We agreed on a price with the sales rep and were feeling very good about the purchase. Unfortunately, close to $1000 of additional fees were added to the agreed to price and we did not catch it right away in the paperwork. When we went to settle, the price was higher because of these "fees". The sales person was clear he did not talk to us about these fees and the Finance/Purchasing leader did try on our behalf to get them removed or at least split the difference. However, the dealer leadership basically said look, you don't have to buy the car at the higher price, we have 2 people lined up to look at the car if you don't buy it. This says a lot about the mindset of the leadership not being customer focused or standing behind their own team. I would not be able to recommend this dealer to a friend. If you are looking at a car from Lindsay, please be sure to get everything in writing on a worksheet immediately - electronic versions on smart phone even if reviewed specifically with the sales rep at the time of price agreement won't be accepted. I give them two stars thanks to the employees who tried on our behalf to make it right... Rich
  • Got what i wanted, salesman very good

    I knew what I wanted--a Charger SXT, so I called ahead for a test drive. They connected me with John. Extremely knowledgeable, eager to please, he spent a lot of time with me test driving and as i wavered back and forth between which car i wanted. 100 percent satisfied with his work and recommend him highly. I see a lot of negative reviews on the dealership's internet pricing. I faced the same problem, because the price seemed to good to be true. Well, it was true, if you factor in all possible rebates and incentives that you may or may not be eligible for. So when their price wasn't what i wanted, we talked with the sales manager for at least half an hour and i walked away satisfied. Did i get the internet price? No. But darn close. And i don't think i would have gotten a better price anywhere else in the area. So yes, i have no problems recommending Lindsay. Just know how the pricing works and plan accordingly.
