Dealership Sales Review
What started as a good experience went the wrong direction between the time we agreed on price and the time I had to write the check. My son and I drove for 2 hours to get to the dealer as they had a good price on the SUV he was looking for. We agreed on a price with the sales rep and were feeling very good about the purchase. Unfortunately, close to $1000 of additional fees were added to the agreed to price and we did not catch it right away in the paperwork. When we went to settle, the price was higher because of these "fees". The sales person was clear he did not talk to us about these fees and the Finance/Purchasing leader did try on our behalf to get them removed or at least split the difference. However, the dealer leadership basically said look, you don't have to buy the car at the higher price, we have 2 people lined up to look at the car if you don't buy it. This says a lot about the mindset of the leadership not being customer focused or standing behind their own team. I would not be able to recommend this dealer to a friend. If you are looking at a car from Lindsay, please be sure to get everything in writing on a worksheet immediately - electronic versions on smart phone even if reviewed specifically with the sales rep at the time of price agreement won't be accepted. I give them two stars thanks to the employees who tried on our behalf to make it right... Rich
