by artoo_d2 on 11/27/2010I used the Zag Car Buying service to try and purchase a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from this dealer. I spoke with the dealer, test drove the vehicle, then called to make the purchase. The dealer agreed to the deal over the phone. I… drove straight to the dealership with cash in hand and I was there within an hour and a half. Once I was there, they informed me that they sold the vehicle to someone willing to finance the vehicle through the dealership. They wouldn't even offer to find another vehicle with the same specs for the same deal (though at this point it would have taken some serious incentives to continue to deal with them). No apologies from the staff or the management despite the verbal confirmation from the internet sales manager over the phone less than two hours prior. I would not recommend making a purchase at this dealership.I will never do service with them again!!!
by wkd07 on 10/06/2010I saw a car that I was interested in which was recently added to the internet so it had no picture. i went to the dealership to check it out. i originally was told to speak to a member of management, but when I got there a salesman tried to… take my situation in his own hands. He was rude, sloppy and very unprofessional.He touched me way too much and tried to be personal. I told the manager I didn't want to deal with him and I preceded to buy this vehicle anyway (with the managers help), I test drove it and there were some minor problems. I had no worries because the dealership just got it in and these flaws would be caught by the mechanics in service i was told. I told them I will go through my credit union and will be back in 2days. When I returned the salesman brought me the papers to sign without explaining. Even when i asked questions about it he gave me some simple answer that still didn't make since and he was still using acronyms that i had no idea what they were.After all the paper work was handled with the finance team, i found out that someone in the used sales dept had pulled my credit already that day even though i did no financial service with them yet. I was mad because there was no reason for it especially after i had already got the loan with my credit union. When I left the car still had alignment problems and a clicking noise when i drove off, I called the manger right away and he told me to bring it back tomorrow. i brought it back the next day, I picked it up 1 day later and it still wasn't up to par. When I started to show less confidence in the buy they showed me a check list of what was supposed to be checked on the car, but the problems i was having weren't checked even though they were on the paper...little did they know i had someone else look at the car and only 1 thing had been fix by Champion Ford Services only because I pointed it out...oh did I mention the service rep tried to tell me he drove it to check it out but the vehicle had the same mileage as when i dropped it off ... so how was that possible. NEVER AGAINMy last time buying from this dealership.

From that time until last February the overall sales experience has been pretty good. We have purchased a 1999 Mustang,… 2000 F150, 2002 F150, and recently I purchased a 2010 F150 and my brother a 2010 Mustang. I will admit they worked hard at getting the deals done but the issues came after the purchase. I found a paint defect on my truck from the factory. I saw it on a 2010 Taurus the same day we pruchased and thought how awful that was. Never even saw it on mine. Well let me tell you I was pretty angry and hurt. This dealership does not even check their inventory for issues. So of course I call the guy back that I purchased from, as well as the guy that helped him. I spoke to the helper first and he was pretty good at listening what i had to say, however, the fleet sales mgr or whatever he is was rude and interupted me while I vented. To make a long story short, I never got reviews to send to Ford for how poorly I was treated after the purchased. They kept them from getting to us, me and my brother. Well now is my chance to show how the fleet mgr really is. I went all the way to Alan Mulally on this and you know what I got? The trickle down to other people. Finally met with some slick Houston area sales mgr. He could have cared less. I got an extended warranty to 75k miles(whoop de doo GM has 100k miles standard( and 3 free oil changes(oh Ford, you are so good to your loyal customers!). So I hope others read this and steer clear of this dealership. I love Ford's but their dealerships are pathetic, and is exactly the reason why I go to a Lincoln Mercury dealer for service.full experience

Understand that management here requires you to bargain even when you tell them up front that you want a fair… price. Im not against dealers making money, but I know the market and if it was not for the salesperson I would have walked. Im recommending the salesman if your in the market for a ford, not the dealership. Be prepared, know what you want and what you can pay.Great Dealership

Jim M was very friendly and knowledgeable about the truck I was looking for, and the ease of getting approved for the loan was unbelievable. The truck is better than… I expected with power and gas mileage.Great experience!

Not only did he answer every question I had about the vehicle, he even spent a great deal of time showing us every single feature… and how to operate . Hes a good guy and knows his stuff. Ive been researching to buy this vehicle for about a year. I've read reviews, talked to dealers and compared prices. AutoNation Gulf is top and I flew in from Colorado to deal with these guys and would do it again. Even the finance guy was good. by kari86daisy on 06/13/2013updated 05/16/2025It was the last day of the month on May 31st, Friday, and the prior evening I was at Planet Ford trying to trade in my 2010 Ford Fusion for a 2013 Ford fusion to rid of my 18% interest rate that was eating me alive. Planet Ford was not only… a rip off on their pricing, they seemed as if they weren't even trying to make me a deal and they promised to work on it the following day and get back to me about it. NOPE never even called. So I had heard some good things and reviews on AutoNation so I inquired about a car I wanted and received a response from Zeke right away. I told him my situation up front with a credit issue, nothing down and my trade being upside down. No problem! Didn't scare AutoNation away! He got me all the paperwork I needed for pre approval and I went down there after work, there he was and the car I picked out. Zeke Cervantez was very professional and informative about the car and easy to talk to. When it came down to the deal and trade it there was some time spent going back and forth as with any good deal and they made it happen. Not only did I walk away with a car that night like I wanted, the Ford Fusion was an SE.... one grade up from an S that apparently Planet Ford couldn't do a deal with me on. The finance manager that I spoke with was fabulous and ended up getting me 3.9%!!!! the paperwork closing the deal with awesome and it was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I am referring everyone I know and I am proud to leave their little decal advertising that I bought my car from AutoNation! Did I mention Im loving my new car? Like a dream! I say determined because he wasn't pushy he just wanted to make us happy and leave with a… smile on our face and drive home in a new car. Everyone there was polite and helpful. Compared to other dealers, it isn't even close how much easier and friendly the atmosphere was. However the biggest reason for choosing to purchase my vehicle… there is my salesman Usaldo. Any and all possible measures to ensure my satisfaction were met and exceeded. I would gladly recommend any of my friends or relatives to go see him if they are in the market for a vehicle.Great service

Not just a quick round-the-block, but on good roads and poor, highway and suburban, etc. Decided… on a Mustang convertible and Calvin went to great lengths to find exactly the vehicle I wanted (in Louisiana), very promptly. We went to a dealership on Friday evening and the salesperson wasn't interested in selling us… a thing. He wasn't even very knowledgeable about the car. We were very disappointed and were hoping that this wasn't a sign of what was to come. Our salesman on Saturday was just the opposite. He was very friendly and was ready to help us however he could. I was honest with him from the beginning about not even being sure yet what I was going to buy. He treated us just the same despite the fact that there was a 50-50 chance he could be wasting his time. He was extremely knowledgeable about the cars I was interested in and didn't seem to mind my picky, indecisiveness. We also interacted with the finance department and the accessories department. Both were very nice to work with. We will definitely go back for our future Ford purchases.2013 Ford F-150
