Faster than the competition
by Brian L on 12/12/2024I had a check engine light and I had the code. I tried three different dealerships in the Austin area because I was pretty sure it was covered under warranty. One told me that the code means nothing to them. They told me that I would have… to bring in the vehicle and then at earliest they would take a look to diagnose in 3 days. One has still not gotten back to me and it has been weeks. Alicia at Nyle Maxwell told me it could take 24-48 hrs to figure it out, but she has seen that code. I dropped off the vehicle one afternoon. The next morning I was told the code was verified and they could get it fixed the same day. All in all, my car was seen and fixed in 24 hrs. While this dealership was a little further away from me, I will always come back to Alicia and the team at Nyle MaxwellGreat service

Waste of Rime and Money
by Shawnty on 07/31/2023I have a cylinder 2 misfire on my 2017 Dodge Caravan which is apparently due to engine block defect requiring engine replacement or rebuild. I am one year out of warranty. Lamb’s Auto did diagnostics and gave me this info in a few hours.… Nyle Maxwell service center took two weeks to tell me the same thing. I had to spend over $500 to rent a car because they took so long. Even though I had informed them about what Lamb’s had said. Also, I had to make my appointment with them several weeks ahead of time. I was able to get into Lamb’s in 2 days. Secondly, Nyle Maxwell service center ghosted me when I asked for an estimate on a new engine. They keep trying to sell me a new car, which I don’t want. So if you have lots of extra time and money to waste, this is the place for you.I'm sorry to read about your negative experience and the inconvenience it caused. Not only did these guys get me in and out quicker than expected, but they seem to go out of their way to show that they care. People buy from… who they know, like, and trust, and I know, like, and trust the service team at this Nyle Maxwell location. I'm going to buy my next vehicle there in the next year. Great service center

Mr. Moss in the service center is great!!
by Amanda B on 12/20/2021On this freezing cold Saturday I pulled into the Nyle Maxwell service center without an appointment because my AC blower went out on my 2020 Jeep Cherokee. When I pulled in the gentleman that looked to be responsible for assisting customers… stepped away so I was help by Mr. Moss. Mr. Moss actively listened to my issue and took the time to check my vehicles codes to see what the vehicle deemed the issue. After seeing the code he was honest with me about the possible turn around time for my vehicle to be serviced, which was Monday. Although I was understanding I was concerned because as a single mother without family in the area I couldn’t go with a vehicle. Mr. Moss assured me that they would do all that they could. At this moment I had no choice because although I didn’t need a/c my vehicle wouldn’t turn on the defrost either which was needed for the cold rainy weather and was a safety hazard for my children and I. As I waited anxiously, I received a text message from Mr. Moss via Nyle Maxwell which allowed me to ask all of questions that my dad requested I ask. Mr. Moss answered them via the messaging system and also took the time to walk up to me and give me a personal update. He told me that they had the part needed to service the vehicle and would be able to get me out today. I was ecstatic!!! As I waited, Mr. Moss notified me that my vehicle was ready and explained the checkout process. Many woman are very uneasy about visiting a vehicle service center in fear that they are going to be misled but Mr. Moss definitely didn’t do that. He was very honest and set clear expectations. He was compassionate and thorough with the questions. I really do appreciate him and the team that repaired my vehicle so quickly. So Mr. Moss, thank you from me and my family and my father wanted to send you a special thanks for helping his daughter when he was too far to.Amanda, thank you for taking the time to review us! Nick the guy behind the desk States it's about an hour to an hour and 45 minute wait good thing it only took exactly an hour so after it was done paid… for the services look the car over oil cap was placed back on oil level looked good further inspecting the vehicle I see a nice oily handprint further inspecting the vehicle I see a nice oily handprint on the front right quarter panel further inspecting front right quarter panel I find some scratches on the bumper just below the front right headlight I received a text from the dealer asking to take time to do a review so I am they also stated to text them if there's anything that they can do for us I texted back about said handprint scratches on bumper and I have yet to receive a text backTerrible Service Center Experience
by Jack_Bry on 10/12/2017I bought my truck at Nyle Maxwell a couple weeks ago. The sales process was good. Every since the day I bought it, it had had a bad vibration at about 65MPH. I took it back to the service center and they said they balanced all of the… tires and all was well. However, it still has the same vibration, so I reached back out and they texted me to "...continue to drive it for another 1000 miles and see if it stops." UNACCEPTABLE! I reached out to Eric, the Service Director SEVERAL times and he hasn't even attempted to contact me. TERRIBLE service....will I buy another Dodge, probably so...will I buy it from Nyle Maxwell, probably not!They don't care if you have a warranty they just want $$$
by jskonz71 on 03/01/2017I took my 2013 Jeep into Nyle Maxwell because the seat heaters weren't working. I was foolish enough to have purchased the bumper to bumper lifetime warranty. After having it for 3 days they advised me that I would have to pay an… additional $120 per hour because I had put an aftermarket radio in the vehicle and they would have to remove it. The radio was installed using a wiring harness and there was absolutely no difference in unplugging the aftermarket from the factory radio but they wouldn't listen. They just wanted the money. I contacted Fiat Chrysler and advised them of this and they were no help whatsoever. I ended up cancelling my lifetime warranty and they didn't even care. I will never purchase another new Fiat Chrysler vehicle again and will definitely steer everyone away from all of Nyle Maxwell's dealerships.Horrible service and problems
by Michele54 on 01/14/2017Spent a lot of money buying a brand new 2016 Jeep Cherokee TrailHawk a year ago. With only 13K miles had my oil changed for the 2nd time and just days later the engine light came on with red warnings via the UConnect service. Called the… dealership and was told to bring it by for a diagnostic. I took it in on Thurs. Dec 29, 2016. The diagnostic showed the oil pressure sensor was off. I was told to bring it in Mon 1/2/17 am which I did. I was told it should take 1-2 days. They gave me a Dodge Dart with less than 1/4 of a tank of gas! I did not buy a cheap car and no respect of it being gassed up and ready to go. Today is Saturday 1/14/17 and no vehicle! It has been 2 weeks of no timely return calls, being told it was ready Mon 1/9/17 am and just waiting on paperwork then 4:30pm being told they broke the oil pan and have to order one after waiting all day, misinformation and to top it all off now they don't have an engine technician to work on it!On their game!

Joe obviously having a very crazy day that day, still took the time to return our phone calls answered our questions and… ensured our concerns by educating us on the recall and providing great customer service. Once we realized we were unable to pickup the vehicle that day, Joe made us feel relieved that we could simply pick it up the next morning. Joe went one step further by making us aware of coupons on line we could apply to repairs made beyond the recall.Jeep Transmission Monster

He made sure I understood the process that the service dept would have to go through… (evaluating/repairing etc) before my car would be ready for me to pick up. He had great customer service skills. by mpklein on 06/21/2016I got a flat tire and took my vehicle here because the service contract I purchased recommends going to the dealer that sold the contract. At first, it seemed simple. I just sat and watched their associate make phone calls, and the… warranty I purchased covered the cost. I took it in Monday morning and was told the tire would be in Thursday. Picked up the car Thursday evening, drove it to work and back in slow, rush-hour traffic. Then 10 days later, found the replaced tire flat with a bump/bubble in the sidewall. Took my car in early the next day, and their associate states it looks like I damaged the tire. He says they'll take it back and take a look. I tell him I need it replaced ASAP since I have a trip planned. He approaches later to state my warranty won't cover a rental vehicle (which is not what I asked for - the warranty should not have been involved in this transaction) and says again that I really damaged the tire. I advise him that there was not any incident that would have caused damage to the tire. He proceeds to argue that there was damage to the rim (that was already there - I did just have the tire replaced from the road hazard causing damage 11 days earlier after all). After I've waited over an hour the associate approaches again to state he can't get the same tire until 4 days later and offers a lower quality tire instead. I decline the lower quality and asked what they found after looking at the damaged tire. He states it was an installation error but still does not provide a loaner vehicle as they advertise as one of their Features and Amenities. Not only did I have to waste my vacation time on this visit due to an error on their part, they were unapologetic and did not seem to care at all that it was affecting future plans. I call back 4 days later to ensure the tire is in, and the associate tells me he called and left me a message the same day I left without a loaner vehicle or repair stating he was able to get the correct tire. However, he did not call the phone number I provided him. He states he called an old phone number, that we don't have anymore. Picked up the vehicle today and the invoice states I said I drove over a pothole. A different associate stated they added that for insurance purposes, so apparently they are filing an erroneous claim.
