Friendly, fun and no hassle experience
by LLO2020 on 01/04/2020Never thought spending money to buy a new truck of my dreams would be a fun and friendly hassle free experience. We went to Mercedes dealership and was ignored without a single hello after 40 minutes of looking around. We left frustrated… and went to BMW. Thank you Mercedes Thor sending us there by your rudeness. Right away Alejandro from BMW greeted up as we walked up and spent countless time patiently explaining the trucks and options. We were able to narrow down our choices. We returned the next day and completed the deal with Desirea. She was great. Friendly and fun and full of great information. Never felt like business. We sealed the deal with JC. Never imagined laughing during the pricing part of the deal. Just a great stress free experience. No regrets, pressure or feeling like your being took for a ride. My experience at BMW of Silver Spring

He did not push me and never said anything bad about other cars and dealers.… That made my mind change to buy a BMW over Mercedes.Siba, in order to deliver the best experience possible, we try to set high expectations for ourselves. Ron Askew - Amazing
by Brittany on 12/16/2019updated 12/23/2019I went in with absolutely no intentions on even purchasing a car, I just wanted to test drive a few different models to get the feel of what I liked before I proceeded with my purchase. Ron wasn't the least bit pushy at all & had no problem… with me saying I didn't want to purchase anything at this time. During the test drive's Ron was very informative about what each one came with & the differences between each vehicle. Even though I said I didn't want to purchase anything Ron decided to hold onto the keys to all of the models I had drove to ensure that IF I changed my mind on not wanting to purchase anything that I would have the option to do so. After driving all the models that I wanted to, I was really interested in the BMW X1, but I let Ron know that the price was a little too high for me to purchase. Ron asked me what the price was I was looking for & what I would be comfortable paying each month. After explaining everything to him he went & talked to the manager & was able to get even more off then we originally discussed. He also disclosed that they were having a promotion, which led me to getting a 2.49% interest rate. He was very patient with me & thanks to Ron I know have a car that I am absolutely obsessed with :)Brittany, thank you for your positive review. I never felt pressured to buy a car. It was more so him educating me through the process… for my unique situation. I highly recommend purchasing from this dealership. I first met Karen Herbert with BMW of Silver Springs in 2018 when I needed to quickly make a car… purchase due to an unforeseen circumstance. I was immediately impressed with her caring nature and professionalism. Karen has a comfortable sales approach – no pressure or rush - and she is a great listener. She not only sold me a car during my time of need, but she inspired customer loyalty. When I recently decided to make a car purchase before the year’s end, my natural response was to contact Karen. Just as I expected, she worked extremely hard to meet my exact car match and to ensure my SUV was delivered before Christmas. Although I live in Alexandria, VA, I will keep returning to Karen and her amazing BMW of Silver Springs team for my car needs because they go above and beyond to provide the best car buying!Great Services

by Shari Gaister on 11/30/2019I’d like to take a moment to give Karen Herbert of BMW Silver Spring 5 stars! I have been leasing BMW’s for as long as I can remember. My current X3 lease came from this BMW dealership three years ago; however, the sales person I dealt… with was no longer there. My lease is due to end December 3, 2019. I started doing my research in October for my next BMW X3 lease. I spoke to a couple of salespeople at different BMW dealerships as well as one or two at the Silver Spring dealership. I found most sales people to be either unknowledgeable, too young, too pushy or could care less whether they made a sale or not. I decided to call Silver Spring BMW back. I mentioned to the young lady who answered the phone I was extremely frustrated dealing with sales people who had little experience selling cars or were less than knowledgeable about the process. The young lady said to me, “I have the perfect person to help you.” Thank goodness! Karen Hebert turned my nightmarish experience into a fabulous experience. She definitely knows her stuff…but more importantly Karen knows how to treat a client she would like to have for life. Customer service is important even though most people do not know what it is. Being in a customer-oriented business myself, I take notice when sales people take the time to make sure they are providing good, caring service. Karen is one of those rare individuals in a world where most people just don’t care. I purchased this BMW X3 30i and picked it up yesterday, Friday, November 29, 2019. Karen made sure my brand new car was ready for when I arrived. She walked me through the paperwork I needed to sign in order to turn in my old car. She asked if I wanted to go for a “spin” in my new car and she went with me. She handled everything down to putting the tags on my new car with her pretty pink screwdriver. She then handed me over to the finance manager to complete the paperwork and where I decided to purchase extended warranties. One of those warranties I purchased requires I bring the car back to the dealership. I received a call from Karen today to make sure everything was ok on the way home last night. During this conversation, Karen offered to have one of their technology genius’ come to my house with a loaner car, show me how to work certain items on the car, drive my new car to the dealership so they can complete the work and then drive my car back to my house and pick up the loaner car. I was speechless. Are you serious? This is what I call FANTASTIC customer service. Karen Herbert, Joanna McCarthy and BMW of Silver Spring, you have earned my loyalty as a forever client. I was not looking for much in terms of features. However, by… listening to what I needed, she quickly located a car for me. Without being pushy, Karen was knowledgeable about extra features included and looked towards the future in explaining their valued capabilities. Karen was quick, effective, pleasant, and value oriented. She very friendly and patiently explained all the paperwork that was coming my way and what documents I needed. She along with the management team at BMW Silver Sprint, James Algeciras and Julia Plummer, worked extremely hard over the course of 2 days to get me in an upgraded 3… Series. The deal the team was able to work out for me was unbelievably phenomenal along with their work ethics. Ms. Karen sold me my first BMW 5 years ago and it was a memorable and pleasurable experience back then. However working with her on this new deal left a lasting impression and her and BMW of Silver Spring have gained a customer in me for life! He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. My cousins came with me for moral support and ended… up upgrading to a newer BMW! The next day, I noticed a few scratches on the drive side door. I texted Andy and he called me immediately to arrange for the body shop to buff them out! He deserves a raise! In Finance, Julia worked her magic with the numbers to get me everything I needed - on budget!!Hi, thank you for your feedback.
