Easiest vehicle purchase ever
a day late and a dollar short
by 7characters on 02/16/2023I had an early morning appointment for an oil change and some minor warranty work. I left my Jeep there for the day and got a ride to work. At 3pm, I called the service department and it sounded like they hadn't started any work yet, and… they couldn't commit to having the work done by 4:30pm. They did call around 4:30pm to say the work was finished and I was able to pick the car up that evening. A couple days later, I noticed that the oil was leaking where I parked. I crawled underneath and tightened the oil drain plug to resolve the issue myself. This is not good service for a $300 (diesel) oil change.Hi, we are deeply disappointed by your experience at AutoNation Chrysler Jeep Arapahoe. Routine Service

Very bad experience
by Unhappy on 02/02/2023Firs, I waited 2 weeks in the line to even get to the service. Once I reached my place in the line the car was sittingn in the "internal line" for 4 days before it even got to thechician, and then it took them another 3 days to figure out… the issue. After that they told me they need 10 days to order parts and put myself in the line again ... I was without a car for 1 week when my car was just sitting on their lot - they don't have loaners. by Jackie Della on 01/01/2023These people are horrific with communication. I scheduled my initial service appointment with them on the 23rd at 8:30am. I had issues with my auto start/stop function, locking my door, and needed an oil change. This day was freezing cold… so they told me they couldn’t test my battery, which is understandable. They also couldn’t fix the lock on my door because they didn’t have the part, which is also understandable. So tell me why it took them ALL DAY to only give me an oil change. They didn’t call me until 5:30pm to give me an update on my car. It took them 8 hours to only give me an oil change? When I came in the second time on December 31st at 8am I told them I wanted my car back that day. They have already been horrible with communication so I decided to give them a call around 2-3pm. Turns out they were closed for the holiday (New Years) and decided to keep my car for 2 days without my consent. I had specifically told them I wanted my car back because it is still functional, yet they just kept my car and I won’t be able to pick it up until Monday when they open again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NONE OF MY ISSUES ARE FIXED AFTER THEY KEPT MY CAR FOR 3-4 DAYS. I understand it takes time to fix things, I understand things may get crazy during the holidays. What is unacceptable is that they are keeping my car for DAYS without giving me any update. Just absolutely disrespectful.Hi Jackie, we appreciate you taking the time to respond. Service on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee
by Katelyn on 12/29/2022Every time I go in there alone, they always try to rip me off but if i have my dad go in they say nothing. I went in about 2 weeks ago for a oil change that I have pre paid for there when I bought my car, and said to them that I think I… have an oil leak that since they are changing my oil if they would look. Well turns out they looked at that and apparently so much other stuff telling me the oil change is going to be 1500 my front struts need to be replaced which will cost me 1300 my engine mounts need replaced which will cost me 2000 and my rear brakes need replaced which will cost me 500. So altogether 5 grand. I said no and left and went to a different dealer which ultimately none of that needs replacing except my back brakes which my dad can do for 40$ and then i can have mercedes do my oil leak for 600$. They really like to rip off young women and they truly tick me off. There labor rate is more than mercedes which is absolutely ridiculous my dad said when he went in there a couple weeks before the labor rate was not as much so i’m sorry but that’s ridiculous and I will not be coming back to this jeep.Fast, attentive service

Poor service department
by Justin C on 12/23/2022For the third time in 3 years they have failed to complete the requested services for routine maintenance. I scheduled an appointment for my recall and despite making an online appointment was told I would have to wait up to 4 days to even… get my van looked at. I was able to get the recall done without the maintenance the next day, but when I got my car back the heated seats were not working. I was able to find the problem and repair it, but this was the third time they had failed to make the requested repairs.Hi Justin, we regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. Not a great experience.
by Josh B. on 12/16/2022Regarding the service department, I’ll be finding another place to take my Jeep. Not once have I had something fixed the first time, and never fixed 100%. My latest repair took three weeks with no offer of a loaner, and left me begging the… service advisor for updates. I picked up my wrangler last night to find my headlights and fog lights not working. Couldn't fix a simple problem and gave dishonest answers
by Gary on 10/25/2022My sig other and her daughter took her Wrangler in with a check engine light. We suspected a fuel cap issue, and they wrote that down. They had the vehicle a week before they ran a simple diagostic on it then all they could tell us was… they were troubleshooting an electrical problem. They said it could be up to another week before they found the issue. No one checked the gas cap or could provide diagnostic codes for the light. We were fed up and I was out of town so we said don't do anything and we would pick it up when I got back. When I went in, the vehicle was in the same spot where we left it and they could not produce a diagnostic report. No technicians were not available to tell us what they were troubleshooting or what they found. I asked them to do a diagnostic check and as we suspected it was fuel related. I drove the Jeep home, uncrewed the gas cap and reseated it. Light went out. All is good. Took me five minutes to fix the issue once i got home. I have a hard time believing a competent shop wouldn't check the diagnostic report on the light, ignore the concern about a simple gas cap fix, spend their time chasing an electrical issue without a diagnostic report identifying an electrical problem. We called the General Manager after we got home, but he waived it off as no big deal and said he would give us his cell # and personally be available in the future when we come in next time. No apology, just excuses. We don't need the cell #, we won't be going back. I get how busy all auto shops are, but this experience was one of incompetence and dishonesty, not short staffing. I recommend you look elsewhere.Horrible Service!

After all of that, they couldn't reproduce the issue and charged us a $200… diagnostics fee! Beware of the service department and how the do business. Extended warranty and pitch of you can use any Autonation location is BS. They are all super busy and have a waiting list of 3-4 weeks...plus the time it sits before being looked at.
