Not happy at first!
by Frankie on 03/14/2025I want to make sure a big Kudos is sent to Kaci Flores and manager Brandy Votaw,, i called for several times to try and get my car in and looked at (2023 Seltoes) and Brandy made it happen stress free and had a loaner lined up for us. These… ladies were super professional and customer service was exceptional. We always have great service when coming here but this time these ladies went above and beyond.... thank you both so much for your help.Software Upgrade
by CJ on 11/06/2024updated 11/21/2024Since June 2024 I've been dealing with Parkway Family Kia and they have the worst service I have ever experienced. My car is still not fixed and every time I call to have someone from management call me back they tell me that I should get a… call back within few days. The problem is that no one ever calls me back and my vehicle is year to be fixed. I've contacted Kia consumer and they have advised me that I need to give the chance to fix the car to which I did. I left me car the entire month of July and again the entire month of October and still my car is having the same issues. I'm at my ends wit and I'm so freaking frustrated. Throughout this process CJ has made every effort to accommodate me due to the ongoing issues I'm experiencing. No GM or no management has give me a call back just to validate my concerns. Now if I was to drive my car thru the glass and ask for some help they would say something is wrong with me.Refuses to fix the damage they caused
by Dustin on 02/06/2024This dealership scratched our brand new 2024 forte gt, the detailed the car without asking us, we dropped the car off to have a key programmed because they lost the spare when we purchased the car, the detailed the car and talk it through… there car wash and when we received the car back it was covered in scratches. They refuse to fix it and say there is no way they could scratch a car, waiting to Kia corporate to make something happen. But so far nothing.Disappointed
by Mat on 01/27/2024I purchased a new k5 and within two weeks multiple warnings about collision sensors and a check engine light came on causing the vehicle to lose all throttle control. After turning the car on and off I managed to drive it right back to the… service center. They decided it was just a glitch and nothing to worry about. Jokes on me for not asking them to look further into the issue. Now it’s happened a second time while driving on a busy roadway. Back to the service center again. No complementary loaner was offered. The solution they have is to test drive the car around racking up miles at my expense. Next is to remove the lo jack they had installed and have me and my family handle all the risk of operating an unsafe vehicle. If it happens again I should just bring it back. by LATANYA SAM on 02/11/2023My husband brought in 2020 Kia Sportage for oil change and we requested the AC fixed because it just stopped working. We understood the cost would possibly be for diagnosing the issue. Overall the issue should have been covered under… warranty. Kevin accused my husband of having front end work done on the vehicle. My husband explained to him no work was done on the car. The vehicle was never in an accident, the vehicle is two years old only used for work 40 miles a day. Kevin continued to accuse my husband of having work. After mutual agreement we paid for the AC to be recharged with Freon $500. The next day the unit did not work after my husband decided to drive it to work. I returned the vehicle very upset on Friday 2/10/2023.Today is Saturday and Kevin is calling back with the same accusations and the general manager will not return my call. I feel like Kevin did not want to file under warranty. He also failed to communicate timely, earlier in the day he promised me pictures once the service guy found the problem. He waited until the end of the day Saturday to communicate inform me he would get with shop manager and general manager and reach out Monday. I left two messages for General Manager hoping he will return my call. One was with the staff upon entering the dealership and one message was a voicemail. I expect to be treated fairly not given the run around.GREAT EXPERIENCE

I have very high standards when it comes to customer service and conducting business specifically the communication… aspect of it. Mikeal exceeded the standard, as he was very attentive, informative, well mannered, and was determined to get my business and work a deal out for myself and he did just that and more! I couldn’t be more appreciative of how Mikeal conducted QUALITY business today. I’m going to be honest, in todays world of salesman it’s hard to come by one like Mikeal! I could go on and on but I’m sure you get the point! by Tanisha on 05/08/2021Where do I start, I scheduled an appointment with this dealership a week in advance. When I called in to book the appointment, I explained to the lady that we just recently moved to Texas and my check engine light was on. The car was… driving really funky to the point it would kinda stall when you push on the gas. I explained that per my GPS, the location is about an hour away so we would need a loaner vehicle. I was assured they would have one for us, no problem. The appointment was scheduled at 9a. Once we got there we met with Krystal in the service dept, we were told we had to wait until the diagnostic was completed before we could pick up the loaner vehicle. The diagnostics was finally done around 2p. Krystal told my husbamd amd I that the engine needed to be replaced, and it was covered under our warranty. However, my out of cost expenses would be to replace the fluids in the engine, and flush out the old fluids to ensure everything went ok. She explained it takes up to 10 days for the part to be ordered and another 2 1/2 days for the work to be completed. When it was time to get the loaner, we was told that because we dont have a Texas license we would not be able to get a loaner. I explained that we have a scheduled appointment with the Department of Motor Vehicle at the end of the month, however, we have full coverage insurance and our license are active out of another state. They were not willing to make any exceptions inspite of the pandemic and now we're being penalized because we have to wait until our scheduled date to transfer over our license to Texas. After a draining day of continuous let downs by this company. They did shuttle us back home, thank God for that. I was assured by Krystal that she would be in constant communication but that was also a lie. It was like pulling teeth to get Krystal on the phone; mobile or work line. She deliberately avoided calling us back, although we made constant efforts and left voicemails and texts. Due to Krystal lack of following through on her commitment. We had the matter escalated to the service Manager Russ. He was very evasive and did not seem at all concerned about our poor experience that we received while patronizing his establishment. He did not make us feel valued as a customer or that we mattered. We personally chose this location thinking we would have a great experience and we got the total opposite. We left the car with them on 4/3 we did not get the car back until 5/6. Not to mention, our Easter weekend was ruined because the rental companies were closed due to the Holiday weekend. Our experience was horrible and Russ nor Krystal took any accountability in the matter and their lack of transparency when trying to call for an update was absurd.Do not use BRENDAN KEEN he will not call you back or do what he says

His main focus was me, the ease of servicing my vehicle, and making… sure that I was in a safe vehicle while waiting for mine. David is the kindest most honorable person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Customer service in general at Parkway Family Kia far exceeded my expectations. Parkway Kia with help from David in service have won my complete loyalty. I highly recommend Parkway Family Kia. They are amazing.Don’t waste time
by Vrug on 01/19/2019Don’t ever bring your vehicle here! After waiting for over 2 hours when I had an apt they gave me an estimate of $2335 which was almost half of the vehicle purchase price. They charged me $186 for an oil change and diagnostics and claimed… they fixed the front door driver locks in which we found out they didn’t when we got home. Also they wouldn’t let me use my $9.99 coupon for an oil change! We ended up taking it to get fixed completely for $300. What a rip off don’t trust these people!Unhappy Kia Owner
by Unhappy on 09/07/2018Scheduled a appointment on their website. Arrived 10 minutes early. Wanted an oil change. Took two (2) hours. They said the appointment is like a doctor's office it is when you get to talk with the service advisor, not when we are going to… work on your car. In other words, if you just drive in off the street, they are still going to talk to you and it will take the same amount of time to do the oil change. Then, they padded the bill by adding tire rotation to brand new tires which when the rotation is due, we get balance and rotation for free at Discount Tire where we just bought the tires.Oil change and tire rotation

by debbiees on 12/30/2015December 30, 2015 Parkway Kia Managers: I called on December 17th and made an appointment for December 28th at 8:00 am for my car to have a recall matter handled. The letter from Kia stated that the repair would take an hour and the… man on the phone said 1 ½ to 2 hours. On December 28th, I dropped the car off at about 7:45 am. When I entered the service department, 3 men were standing around chatting and another came as I was leaving. At the time of dropping off the car, none of them mentioned being way behind or any reason why my vehicle would not be serviced at the 8:00 am appointment time. At 10:30 that morning, my husband called to check on the vehicle to find that it hadnt even been looked at. For the next hour, I tried to reach someone in the service department to tell me what was going on. I left 3 messages for the service manager, Greg Mosely, who has yet to call me back despite the fact that he was in the dealership that morning. I also had the unpleasant experience of speaking with Elizabeth in the service department who kept telling me she didnt know anything and then refused to tell me her name the first 4 times that I asked her for it. After telling me many times that she hadnt been who I dropped my car off with, she hung up on me when I insisted on speaking with someone who could answer my questions. After calling back yet again, I finally spoke with Noe who only wanted to make excuses as to why no one had looked at my car in the 3 ½ hours it had been there. He kept telling me that he didnt make the appointments and that he had cars in the bay that had been there since Thursday and Friday. Considering that was Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, that it highly unlikely. There were also no cars in the bay when I dropped mine off that morning. If they really were that far behind on their service, perhaps I could suggest that they should have been working on things instead of standing around chatting. His solution was to give me a smaller loaner car that wouldnt work for our trip to a basketball tournament for the next 3 days. His solution was then to give me my car back without being able to guarantee that it would be fixed by end of the week. I made an appointment for a reason and do not understand why my time as a customer is not at all valued. When I picked up my car I was told that the appointment time does not mean anything. I was told that a call center makes the appointments and they have no control over it. This sounds like a serious breakdown in communication somewhere. If the service department is that far behind, then the people making appointments need to know that they cannot schedule appointments until they have caught up. We bought this car at the Sterling Kia dealership in Bryan and never had bad service. This is the second time I have taken my car to Parkway Kia and have had terrible service both times. We have enjoyed both of our Kia vehicles and were considering a new one for our 16 year old daughter, but considering the lack of professionalism in the service department we wont even consider purchasing a car from here. One of the most disturbing parts of this visit is that while I was told repeatedly that they were so far behind on their work, it didnt stop them from rummaging through both my center console compartment and my glove box. There was absolutely no reason for that. When I picked up my vehicle, I was promised by Noe who took my email address that I would receive a survey so that I could let you know how they had done and how to file a complaint about Elizabeths lack of professionalism, but that too has not come. My complaints are valid and these issues need to be addressed. This dealership seriously needs to listen to the messages it plays while people are on hold. For the entire 25 minutes I was left on hold I was told repeatedly that this dealership does what they say they are going to do and how they have done business on a handshake and their good word for years. Obviously they havent seen their online reviews and I wish I had before I trusted them with my car.Bad Service
