    While I cannot complain about the workmanship...i.e. everything fixed works so far, the overall experience was not what I expected based on the recommendation I received from a friend. I had several repairs that needed fixing, cold air intake tube was cracked, new windshield, realign the sun roof, and fix the diver side door lock. They had my truck 9 days, 8 working days. I agreed to the repairs based on a 5 day estimated repair, and that was because they needed to order a part that would not be in for a few days. What adds to the frustration is that I had to keep calling for updates..."let me go check with the shop and call you back in 30-45 min" turned into me calling back 4 hours later to try and get an update.

    Very helpful and understanding my needs. Too bad I can't say that about AutoNation Ford Katy who lost my Wheel lock and want to charge me a few hundred dollars to take the locks off of my wheels and told me it would take all day to do it.

  • A true nightmare

    The vehicle I purchased had problems, and they were unable to resolve them. Supposedly a 5 day warranty, but according to dealer the time spent in their shop is included in this! I returned vehicle, but they've kept my trade and not paid me for it. My trade is for sale on their website, but they have not paid off my loan balance, so I am getting collection calls on that. I have no vehicle, and the entire experience has been a total nightmare!

    The salesman was very nice and the experience at the dealership was okay but after been approved and already signed the finance agreement, the after sales process was horrible, stressful and embarrassing. I was even asked to return the car and I didn’t understood why, because before everything happened I did and provided everything they asked. My employer called not one, not two but three times to verify employment status. After almost one month, finally I have receive the welcome from the lien-holder. This is not the first time that I purchase a car from a dealership but it is the first time that I’m going trough this kind of process. Also I want to mentioned that the Car-fax I did receive shows the last service and a detail, detailed that it’s not accurate because, yes the exterior of the car was washed but not the interior, there was dust everywhere inside and some melted drinks. The floor/upholstery was clean.

  • 2013 F-150 Paint Job

    I left my 2013 F-150 with the Collision center for 2 weeks for them to repair scratches to the left side of the truck. The total repair was near 3.5K. I picked up my vehicle and it was worse than when I took it in. The decal had numerous bubbles in it. I was told give it a day in the sun and they would go away. its been a week and they're still there. My question is why didn't you put it in the sun prior to me picking it up? There were still scratches on the left side in addition to a few spots where something was baked under the paint. There was a fist-sized spot on the front left panel where they either over sprayed, or just forgot to spray. The shiny plastic panels in-between the driver and passenger door had some spot in it where it looked like it was burned into the coating. As I walk around the Truck, on the right side there were scratches and scuffs that looked as though someone lightly sanded it in places. Mud and dirt was also left inside the vehicle on the drivers side. I showed all of this to the Body Shop manager, because truly NO amount of QUALITY ASSURANCE was completed on my Truck and whatever work they did do was a sham. He told me to bring it in and they would perform the level of work that should've been done in the first place. So once I receive the truck back and if everything is good, I'll update the rating. Either way, I should've never had to tell them about all of this after having my vehicle for 2 weeks and after 3.5K later. Hopefully they fix this the correct way and everything blends in correctly since there's issues on both sides now.

    I contact auto nation and set up an appointment to sell my 2017 Camaro. The whole experience was great, only took and hour and I got top price, I know this because I also went to Carmax and they low balled me $3,000 lower than Auto Nation, smooth experience, was very happy when I left.

  • Don’t buy here!

    First they gave me a car with a terrible odor, did not detail nor service it before bringing it to me. They lied about the different features on the car. When we tried to use their return policy, they tried to say they had a contract in the back saying that if there are no mechanical issues you cannot return the car; but when I asked to see the contract (because I supposedly signed it so I should have access to it) they would not let me see it. They are liars all around and because of them I will never do business with any autonation ever again.

    This was the second time I had to bring the car back for services that should’ve been completed when I brought it the first time then when I did pick it up my wires was exposed and I brought that to their attention and had to wait again after they called an stayed they looked it over and everything was good .

  • Untrustworthy oil change tech

    The staff was nice but service was slow. The guy who serviced my car is untrustworthy. He stated 6 quarts of oil was used when I ALWAYS use 5. As long as I have had this vehicle, it has always been 5. The payment guy did not charge me for the extra quart and gave me a future car wash for my troubles. They made good on it but it still makes me uncomfortable that the service tech is a [non-permissible content removed]

    The car price was not up & down or fought for. He (car) was very clean. The sales finance staff were actually open & truthful. We laughed & talked about real world things. 5star to me.

    I was looking to sell my used F350 and considered several used vehicle channels. However, AutoNation made the process simple, smooth, quick and came forward with a very competitive offer.   • Vehicles online not really available!!

    With 2 different AutoNation dealers, including the Katy location, I called on vehicles posted to multiple auto sites and the vehicles were not really available. In both cases it took the dealer a while to see if they had it, which the didn't, and then wanted to sell me something else. Terrible service. They need better internet people keeping track of inventory. I ended up buying from Mac Haik and they were great.
