    Over the past year my truck has set at the dealership for a 4 months. I’ve dropped it off for the same reason 3 separate times just for the problem not to be solved. My vehicle has set for months without being serviced and I’ve spent thousands on services just for nothing to be fixed. This is completely unacceptable and is not going to be accepted. Tim Scott and the rest of the service team at chevy west Austin are the most unprofessional group of people I’ve ever had to deal with. They have zero accountability and zero pride for what they do.

    I added running boards and bed liner. Regular bed liner guy out of town. Tech on duty explained I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE LOWER PRICEDTECH TO COME IN next week .Not my fault they had to use somone PLUS did not tell me to late that afternoon.

    BEWARE!!! GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!! Worst experience ever! Dropped car off for warranty repair was told it would be 3-4 days to hear back. Never signed anything, no paperwork. After 1 week called left 3 messages for advisors and manager, after no response I had to go down to the dealership to get answers. Met with service manager who had no idea what was going on. Finally was told a “line” to my transmission wasn’t working. They stated they called my warranty and it wasn’t covered. I requested an itemized invoice to see which parts are needed to reach out to the warranty company myself. The manager advised there were no parts only labor…. What are they fixing without parts? I reached out to my warranty company asking about the refusal of work, they advised the advisor requested parts that are not covered under the warranty.. sooooo they lied to me?? I immediately requested no service be completed and I would be picking up my vehicle the next morning. Do not go to here for any type of service the advisor “Bradley” should not be working in customer service, the manager has no idea what is going on in his service center, they lied to me and the warranty company, and charged a 1 hour of labor when I picked up, which I NEVER signed nor agreed to!!

  • Waste of my time

    I got a letter from GM saying that my C8 Corvette was ready for a recall. I set up an appointment with the AutoNation's Service Department and after two weeks with my car, a representative calls me to say that AutoNation actually does not have the parts and I would need to go back, (I live more than 20 miles away) get my car and they would call me again when the part was available. It has been more than 2 months and nothing. Not to mention that my order was closed with the status "completed successfully" for some crazy reason. Terrible customer service even for a car that costs more than USD 100K.

    I’ve had my vehicle for four years and my service experience has been good until just recently, this past May and currently June (my vehicle only has 16,000+ miles). In May I took my car for its regular oil change and multi inspection. At this time I was advised that my car needed a repair in the amount of $1400 (I’m glad I had them check my warranties, it would be covered). Brought my car back to get the repair done and was advised that it would take from 4-5 days to get done (unfortunately no loaners are offered so this is a real inconvenience for someone that relies only on this car). I got a call back on the same day that I dropped my car letting me know that my car was ready. I’m not sure what happened but apparently the initial diagnostic was not correct and it ended up being something else, just a clean up. Few weeks later, my engine light turned on so I had to bring my car back again to the dealer. Again I was advised that I had to leave my car and that I would hear back after 4-5 days (again, no loaners offered). This time, I didn’t get my car back until after almost 10 days! I had to call in to check on my car status after 5 days of not hearing back and left a voice message, I didn’t get a call back until after almost 5 days after. Apparently they did another multi inspection on it and two different services were diagnosed that were not appearing back on the multi inspection that had just been performed a few weeks prior in May. It’s hard to be without a vehicle for so many days and also not to get updates sooner than almost 10 days.

  • Disappointed

    Requested “oil/filter change” via online appointment. After waiting over 1hour, received text message from tech regarding additional services recommended stating ‘brake fluid flush’ (with pics of brake fluid reservoir) and ‘fuel system service’ ($400 total) plus transmission service. Declined all because they just did (and I just paid for) same brake and fuel system service 5 months earlier! Tried to contact service manager but unable to get to him. Asked receptionist to have service manager call me, never received call or email - only automated email requesting review/rating. So here it is. I just requested an oil change - despite the receipt stating I requested a multipoint inspection - and no one asked beforehand. After being the only ones to work on my vehicle for the past 11 years I would have expected a little more personalized service. (The brake fluid is clear and new, not sure why it was flagged in the first place - easy to see).

    Oil change was completed in just over an hour and customer service was great. Previous oil changes at Auto Nation South Austin had taken 4 hours because they never had my oil filter in stock despite my having made appointments days in advance.

  • Oil Change for Chevy pickup

    My truck has 21000 miles on it. I took my truck in for an oil change and for the service dept to advise on fuel filter and air cabin filter change. my advisor gave me a price of $120 for the oil change, later he texted me and mentioned that the fuel filter and air filter would be a total of $180. I gave him the okay. when i picked up my vehicle the total cost was $630 double what I was expecting. my advisor pretended to not know who to read the information on the computer and brought an other advisor to carry out the theft. I will never do business with Auto Nation again, i don't trust them, they probably didn't even do any of the work just reset the readings to read everything okay at 100%. The advisor is a >>>>>>>. the other thing i called to check status of the work and he said that it had been ready for a while but was too busy to call me.

    Made an appointment two weeks in advance only to drop off my car and find out an hour later that they did not have all the parts. Then after I had to reschedule, I called the day before to just make sure I actually had an appointment and all the parts are there. it took three different phone calls just confirm an appointment that I made with the manager. I love this location have been going there for years but the customer service continues to go down hill makes no sense you can’t even get a hello when walking in the door!! But I will say Jose the last gentleman who helped me was amazing!! He was friendly, on time and clear communication! They definitely need more people like Jose. Rick you as a manager please provide better education to your staff and work on the commutation skills through all departments.
