We needed to know about flat towing our car behind our motor home and Ron looked up information and even went in person to a… business that does flat towing installs to get the correct information we needed. by JohnS on 02/08/2019Recently I bought a 2016 X3 at BMW of Silver Spring from Desirea Jackson. This car is fantastic. Desirea is very knowledgeable, very customer focused, and very friendly. Also after the car was delivered she was always available for advice… and answering questions. She quickly resolved a minor issue: a small dent in the front bumper was repaired in no time and the quality of the work was excellent as you would expect from BMW. Working around my schedule and delivering on his promises was a nice surprise. There was no pressure and Ron was… very easy to talk to. He shared my excitement in the selection process and addressed all my questions professionally - even to more basic ones. High marks also go to the finance team member (Andrew Lippincott). His breakdown of all add-on packages/programs was clear and insightful. Again no pressure or pushy sales attitude. Coming from a 2008 328i coupe, I wanted an SUV for my new ride. Andy Alexis took the time to show me different options.… Once I found what I liked, Andy made sure to give me all the discounts that were available to me, I had pizza while I waited, and I left a happy owner of a 2018 X2!! Great Team
by Great on 01/19/2019I had not been looking for a vehicle for long but I had fairly well narrowed down my interests. With that, my wife and I arrived at the dealership just to “check out” what seemed to be the car I wanted... and then we met Karen. She was… patient and provided the necessary time and input for me to understand the car’s features and pricing details (including the incentives and discounts). She was not “pushy” and was empathetic with my concerns. Karen’s empathy is what sets her appart, she showed genuine interest in understanding my point of view and provided the service that mattered to me. Karen worked with me to get the best deal possible and adviced me on my trade-in. I am not fond of rushed decisions but Karen made is so easy and painless; I bought that same day. Needless to say, my kids were very surprised (and impressed) when we returned home after leaving to check out a car. Since then I’ve been enjoying my drives and Karen has been following up as promised. Anthony made the paperwork a breeze. He explain the options on offer and worked with me to figure out what made sense and what didn’t. Getting out of a bad deal
by Greg on 01/16/2019Ron Askew is a life saver and great salesman. I had bought a car from another BMW dealership a few days before Ron had contacted me. I was given a deal that was not the best for me, and Ron really helped me out of a bad situation. He saw… the deal and showed me another car that he knew was better for me despite me telling him that I had already bought another car. Ron goes the extra mile for his clients and he really takes care of them. Not only did he put me in the car I had wanted all along, he also did it without me having to pay anything out of pocket. Ron does right by his clients and leaves you feeling sure that you made the right purchase. His communication skills, personality and enthusiasm really made my experience memorable and I would highly recommend going to see him if you are looking for a BMW.Greg, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at BMW of Silver Spring. Karen Herbert - One of the Best Cleint Advisors I have ever met!

I had been considering a used BMW and we had some extra time so we dropped by BMW of Silver Spring to take a look at their inventory. After we browsed the lot's certified used… models, trying to avoid sales folks at first, Karen Herbert introduced herself, asked us a few questions, and recommended a vehicle to test drive. As it had been years since I had driven a BMW, I had a number of questions while we were taking the test drive and Karen provided answers to every one. I have been buying cars for more than 40 years and I can honestly say that Karen is one of the best client advisors I have ever met! She knows the vehicles! Sadly, many in her profession do not. Karen did her best to craft a good deal for us that day, but because of the fact that we live more than 600 miles away from Silver Spring and did not have our potential trade car with us, we were reluctant to make a purchase. Nonetheless, I would wholeheartedly recommend Karen Herbert. She gave us room when we needed it, was not pushy, tried to meet our needs, and knows her BMWs!Thanks so much for this great review and for your recommendation! He kept me updated on every step of the ordering, production and delivery process. Even more impressive, I met Lonnie when… looking at a new BMW several years ago. Over the years I kicked the tires on a few different models and Lonnie showed incredible patience and responsiveness each time, never pressuring me into any decisions. Ron is very professional, and really puts the client's interest first. He has the qualities of the… best sales-- knowledgeable, patient, efficient but not pushy. He took care of my trade-in Audi and helped me build a X3 with all the features I want. Price wise, I got a very decent deal. I am not an easy customer but I am completely happy doing business with him. And I would definitely recommend Ron to my friend who wants a BMW. JC is the sales manager there.
