Excellent, professional service
by accord16 on 01/04/2015We had the best experience at Ourisman Honda! We met two very nice people at the Ourisman Honda: Anthony Davenport and Debbie Lewis. Anthony Greeted us as we got out of our car. He is very helpful and has very good knowledge of the cars. He… is very pleasant and guided us on the test drive. He wasn't pushy or obnoxious, and he helped us get a very good price on the car of our choice. After we agreed on the terms of the purchase, he introduced us to Debbie for financing. Debbie helped us get the lowest interest rate possible and she was able to get the lowest monthly payments. After purchasing the car, Anthony took a long time to explain the features of the car, and synchronized our mobile phone to the car's blue tooth. We recommend Ourisman Honda to anyone looking for a new car. Our experience was great and we are grateful!Good service - just brought a Honda from Ourisman Honda of Laurel

by pt929mm1 on 10/02/2014Just purchased a 2009 Escalade from Ourisman, and I couldn't be happier! Breaun accomodated me every step of the way and went out of her way to make sure that everything was taken care of. I also must commend Walter Cook, and Debbie Lewis… for the exceptional customer service and the great deal they were able to obtain for my financing! I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends!Exceptional service when buying C300 Mercedes
by ikennamyers on 09/25/2014I recently purchased a c300 Mercedes Benz from Mr. Anthony D. I can not say enough about the positive experience I had when going through the process of purchasing the car. From Mr. D's knowledge about cars and the car buying process to his… patience and care in helping me choose the right car for me it was all at the highest levels of customer service. Even the financing process was knowledgeable and Ms. Debbie L was of great help and put me at ease during the process. I would definitely suggest seeing Mr. D at Ourisman Honda for all their car buying needs .My new car!!!
by Fareedah on 08/12/2014After coming to the realization of having to buy a car, I went to Kia to start my search. The guy at Kia was very nice and knowledgeable but i really could not afford the Kia. I went home and prayed about it. The next day my sister took me… to Toyota I looked at a Toyota Corolla it was nice but that was just it, I looked at the Toyota. After looking at the Corollas the guy took me back on the inside to get my information. The cost of the car was affordable but something would not let me buy the car. So we decided to go to Pohanka Honda but the traffic on the parkway was awful so we went to Ourisman Honda in Laurel instead. That was the best decision we made. As we walked into the building we were greeted by Anthony D. Anthony was very helpful and knowledgeable of the cars. He worked with me and helped me to decide on my new Honda Civic LX. When it was time to finance the car I got to work with Debbie L. Debbie was another great person to work with at the establishment. She was able to get my interest rate to the lowest possible number and she was able to get my monthly payments lower. God could not have sent two better people to work with me. I am forever grateful. If you are looking for a car and great people to work with, Ourisman Honda is the perfect place.salesperson, business manager and finance manager

by jrybka4177 on 07/28/2014I had the unfortunate task of filing for bankruptcy recently. I knew that in the process, I would have to return the current car that I had. I have spend up to the last minute trying to find a good deal and a good car that would continue to… take me to work and also my partner to his medical visits (of which there are many). We kept on coming back to Ourisman because we had seen a 2003 Ford Focus Station Wagon that caught our eye. I usually like to just look at the car in person but something told me to chat with someone online. Anthony D was the person who was on the other end of the messages. He was incredibly nice and made me feel confortable instantly. We went in on Saturday to check on the car and was very impressed. We were treated like family and as a couple (which is nice 'cause some dealerships are still weirded about a same sex couple in this day and age) -- We test drove the car and after discussing it, decided it was the best car for our family. At no time did Anthony try to upsale or push us to something we didn't like. He supported us and answered all our questions. In fact all of the people were polite and supportive of us getting a "older used" car instead of some brand new car. He then turned us over to Debbie in finance who made us feel like we were old friends just chatting while she had our paperwork ready for us. She gave me some wonderful advice about my bankruptcy and walked us though the whole process. I was so impressed with the whole experience that even thought it did take almost 6 hours from start to finish, it seemed to go pretty fast. At one point, Anthony even offered to buy us lunch (which I thought was a very nice touch) -- I would recommend him and when my finances are back on track and am looking for a new(er) car, I will be back.Great Experience
by zackg1 on 07/17/2014My stepdad took myself and my mother along last night to look for his first NEW car, and lo and behold, we ended up driving home in a brand new 2014 Honda Accord! Mr. Anthony D at Ourisman Honda of Laurel guided us through the sale, and he… was great. Mr. D, along with the rest of the staff at Ourisman, was gracious, amenable, and most of all, welcoming. We love the new car, and we thank Anthony for all his help!Great Experience
by sdas1 on 06/30/2014It was such a delight to do business with Ourisman Honda Volkswagen of Laurel towards purchasing my new Honda CRV EXL. I'd like to mention the pro-activeness and support of MR. Anthony for making the entire process butter smooth. Mr. Joe… of Finance dept was very informative and competent to finish the paper work in a jiffy.Best Place Hands Down to Purchase A New Honda!!
by PamA56 on 06/27/2014Great experience all the way around!! This was our 2nd car purchase from Ourisman Honda of Laurel. We enjoyed working with Anthony D (sales manager) . He was friendly and knowledgable. We never felt pressured at any time in the process of… looking & purchasing. I believe we test drove just about every car at the dealership and he never lost his patience. Julius & Anthony D both took the time to educate us on the high tech navigation system in our new Accord. Appreciated that immensely. Mr P with the financial team at Ourisman Honda of Laurel was extremely efficient in expediting our paperwork after signing. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to drive home in our beautiful Accord within a couple of hours of entering the dealrship. My husband and I highly recommend Ourisman Honda of Laurel to anyone looking to purchase their next car.Excellent Service
by sdas1 on 06/24/2014I am very happy with the overall service and Specially Mr. Anthony D's very professional, Helpful and friendly attitude towards customer.Pleasant buying experience
by mlbitting on 06/24/2014Bought a new 2014 Honda Si Sedan Navi at this dealer yesterday. Very competent staff that answered all my questions. They had the exact car that I was looking for and exactly matched their description as described over the phone. The price… was similar or lower than other dealers that I contacted. My salesman Anthony was very pleasant and very knowledgeable of the car. He went over all of the functions and gave me a chance to drive the car before purchase.Awesome experience
by mikeb461 on 06/17/2014I had an awesome experience. I was scared when I arrived. Anthony D made me feel at ease, and comfy. I am totally happy with my 2011 scion tc. Thanks AnthonyFirst Time Buying experience - Breaun
by Konda_Honda on 06/13/2014Wonderful buying experience. Bre made it very easy. She is the BEST. We kind of walked into dealer ship late in the evening, though she was not feeling well, she made every effort to make sure we get the Best out of our purchase. Purely… Customer Focused. We are more than happy with this first time buying experience. Thank you.... Bre.BAIT AND SWITCH, WORST DEALER EVER
by danz26 on 11/16/2009I went to purchase a Honda Odyssey on Nov. 14. They had 1 Touring in stock. On Nov. 13thI asked them for a quote, they emailed me a "On the Road Price". So I went on 14th to pick it up. We test drive etc., then they go to purchase and… they tell me this has an "appearance package" and I need to pay additional $895 for this package. So I told them what am I "on the road" with if they give me a price, and tell me I have to order it if I want that good price. These guys are [violative content deleted], and are doing an illegal bait and switch. We walked out.Rip OFF
by feensterj on 07/20/2009On June 11, 2009 I visited the Honda of Laurel Dealer in Laurel, MD. It was at this time that I spoke with a salesman, Ryan Dunn. Ryan was very professional and pleasant. At this time I explained to Ryan my credit situation and how much of… a deposit I would be able to put down on a vehicle. He, acting as a liaison between myself and the finance manager, Brian, received the okay to accept the $2400 deposit. It was also explained on this day that I had $600 at that moment, would have $300 on June 26, 2009, and the remaining $1500 on July 24, 2009. As a result, I wrote the necessary postdated checks and signed contracts and all other necessary paperwork. The following week I contacted the dealer to inform them that the horn was not working (brand new car). They took note and wanted me to bring the car in to be checked. I brought the car back in to be checked on June 16, 2009. At that time I was told that the part had to be ordered and I would be called when the part came in. I received a call from the service department on June 25th, informing me that the part was in and that I could bring it in to be repaired. During all of the service calls, I was still in contact with Joe Razulzad regarding the financing of the vehicle. He had informed me that I no longer had to put the initial down payment of $2400 down but $1800 instead. Since the dealer at that point had $1000 of my down payment, I only owed $800 which Joe said could still be paid on July 24, 2009. I scheduled the appointment and brought the car in on June 30, 2009. When I returned on July 1, 2009 to pick up the car and return the rental, I was told (by service) that the Finance Manager, Brian, needed to see me. I walked over to speak to Brian and this is when he informed me that "We are going to need the last $800 now or we cannot allow you to stay in the car". I asked him to explain and he matter-of-factly told me that they could no longer wait until the 24th of July. Since I did not have the $800 on that day, I had no choice but to ask for my $1000 back. At no point did Brian seem regretful nor did he offer me any other deals to try to accommodate me. Now I know that I am no finance professional but at the very least this was terrible customer service. Especially when I did nothing wrong and kept up with my end of the finance deal. I think that this was very unfair and I feel that I was toyed with. Why would a dealer allow anyone to drive a car for 3 weeks and then all of a sudden snatch the car away? At present I am in the process of filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau if no other reason then to make other buyer aware. I am appalled at the service I received and I would never refer anyone to go through what I went through at Honda of Laurel. I always thought of Honda as one of the leading car dealers, no any more. I now have no desire to ever want to deal with a Honda dealer again. This has even abolished my love for Honda vehicles. I am no longer in the market for one and have decided to shop around for a Toyota instead. I would only hope that this is recognized as an unfair act and that this never happens to anyone else.[violative content deleted] Sales Manager
by spbbp on 07/17/2009We went to buy a new Jetta Sportwagen at Ourisman VW dealership located in Laurel, MD. Our test drive was fun; salesman was pretty patient in explaining all the new features of the car. However, dealership did not have the car in the color… and trim we wanted. We wanted to place a factory order; but the sales manager stepped and promised us to get a similar vehicle from a different dealership if we agreed to a proposed deal right then and there. We agreed; but the sales manager could not keep his promise. He could not get the vehicle from multiple dealerships. A factory order was placed for us and we were told that the original deal will be honored. But after 2 months of waiting, we found out that the new vehicle (that was ordered for us) was sold to a different customer!! They did not even notify us. Apparently the sales manager did not want to honor the original deal anymore!! He made the original deal to reach his monthly quota and when once he realized that he could not get the vehicle in time, he had no intention to honor the deal. Not only he promised to deliver a car that he did not possess, he kept us in complete darkness about the factory order. He had no courtesy to talk to us after he sold the factory ordered car to someone else. Beware of promises to you hear when you visit this dealership. Most importantly, don't trust anything that comes out of the mouth of [violative content deleted] sales manager at Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel.Truly horrible and rude!
by bac2121 on 02/17/2009We recently shopped for a minivan and visited several Honda and Toyota dealers to look at the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna. Ourisman Honda was by far the worst dealer we had the misfortune of visiting. After being greeted by the… salesperson, we waited for several minutes while they tried to find an Odyssey to test drive. They returned saying they couldn't find it, and went over to the customer service desk to see if the other salespeople could help find it. It was like a scene from a bad comedy--all of the salespeople were standing around throwing balls into 10 or 20 dixie cups that they had put on the floor behind the desk. They were cheering as each one of them got one in. All well and fine, except we were standing 10 feet away, waiting for help for 5 minutes while they stood there playing their game. Rather than get them to stop and help find our car, our salesperson joined in the fun. After a few minutes they did eventually half-heartedly ask if someone could help find the car, but did not get a response from the other associates. It was only when my wife raised her voice and asked if one of them could stop playing games and help our salesperson that they finally helped locate the car. Our salesperson thanked us for the help...but the point is that the salesperson should be helping the customer, not the other way around. Once on the test drive, the salesperson was lacking in knowledge about the basic features of the car, and was very patronizing. An unpleasant test drive ended with us back at the person's desk. They talked about how customer service was their top priority and how they wouldn't leave for the night until the last customer was taken care of....talked about it as they quickly put on their coat and hat and gathered up their things. When we asked about price, they went back to talk to their manager and quickly returned saying that we'd have to come back the next day to talk price. Given how rude they were, and how unwilling they were to talk about price, they must be really not want anyone's business! An Awful Experience
by Wisdom3 on 01/23/2009After researching information and searching at several dealerships via the internet, we were able to find the vehicle ( 2006 Honda Civic Sedan) that we were looking for at Ourisman Honda of Laurel. We had worked all day and it was getting… late so, prior to going to the dealership, we called to ensure that the 2 vehicles that we were interested in looking at were actually in stock and onsite. We were referred to a salesman who checked the status of the vehicles based on the stock numbers that we provided. He informed us that the vehicles were onsite and available for sale. He provided us with directions and we promptly left for our 45 minute drive, on a very cold night for the dealership. We were greeted by the salesman as we walked around the lot. I asked about the location of the 2 vehicles that we had come to see. He walked us over to one and told us that the other had been lent out as a loaner (Mind you, it was after 7:00 pm and we had been told 45 minutes ago that both cars were onsite - honesty?). This left us with just the one vehicle to test drive and evaluate since their were no other comparibles on the lot. At this point, the salesman was cordial and provided us with directions and pleasant conversation during the test drive. Upon returning to the dealership, we requested a carfax report, and we remained outside examining and discussing the car. Get ready... things were about to change--- As we sat inside the dealership, our salesman completed the standard customer information sheet. He had provided us with the carfax report prior to coming inside - time for the negotiations, or so we believed. He walked away and returned with figures. We stated that their asking price was well over the TMV and other quotes that we had obtained for similar vehicles. Also, although the mileage on the vehicle was very low (mid-20's), it had previously had 2 owners, and was not being sold as a "certified" vehicle even though the price was high. I mentioned these things and the person sitting before us transformed into the true "rude used car salesman". He became abrupt and cockey. Do you like the car? Would you buy this car tonight? You need to understand we have a stake in this too. He began the speech expounding on the long standing reputation of the Ourisman name and the unmatched value and pride of ownership in purchasing a Honda. (We have purchased 2 Honda's in the recent past and were attempting to buy a 3rd). By this time, his attitude change was complete and he was becoming more abrasive and combative with each sentence. I could not believe the way, this man had decided he was going to speak to us. I had heard enough. We had been sitting there all of 5 minutes, that's right we had not been sitting down more than 5 minutes! As I gathered my things to leave, we were asked - What's really keeping you from buying this car tonight? We reiterated that the price was the main issue. Please note, we were never even asked what we would pay for the vehicle! He stood up and walked into an office about 6 feet behind me. I then realized that a person, whom I'm assuming was the Used Car Manager, had been sitting right behind us listening the entire time. We were never greeted nor acknowledged by this person. He returned as sour as ever saying that there was nothing that he could do. We were never referred to or approached by the Used Car Manager. The salesman provided us with his business card and inspite of his rudeness, we thanked him and began to leave. As we were leaving, I turned and looked at the "Used Car Manager" who just stared and never parted his lips. As we were going out the door, I noticed 2 who I assumed to be salesman standing over near the corner of the front window looking toward us laughing. They were standing close enough to hear and witness their collegue's "performance". Aside from their complete unwillingness to negotiate, no potential customer should be treated with the rudeness, unprIntegrity? Honesty?
by bbarsno on 12/23/2008Requested and received formal email offer including itemized invoice price and out the door price, etc on 09 Pilot from the Sales Manager. Set up appointment to take delivery of vehicle. Upon arriving at dealership, passed off to salesman… vice the sales manager who made the offer. Was told there was only one car in the model and color I wanted in Maryland. This wasn't disclosed in the email offer although my request identified both clearly. Although bothersome and warning bells were starting to go off didn't think much about it because dealers trade vehicles all the time. They said other dealership "owed me a big favor" and they could get it delivered. They handed me a piece of paper with different, much higher price on it than email. I handed them the email offer they had sent me with the price I came prepared to pay. Salesman talked to Sales Mgr and came back saying the email offer was an "honest mistake" by the Sales Manager. I asked if they were going to honor their written quote; they said "No; they couldn't". I rose to put my coat on and leave and salesman said he didn't understand what I was doing. I said "leaving" and did so. Sales manager responsible for "mistake" never once came over to apologize or personally interact with me although we were seated about 20-25' apart and could see each other. I know if I had made a mistake of that magnitude that may have jeopardized a sale, I would have at least come over, introduced myself, apologized etc. Following day a different sales manager left a voicemail saying he was taking the liberty to set up an appointment with me at 3:30 to answer any questions I may have about the Pilot. Twenty minutes after the "appointment" I received another call asking where I was and informing me that the salesman would be there for another hour or so to answer my remaining questions. Incredible. Only good thing I can say is the salesman (versus the sales manager) was professional. Caveat: I did not know this forum about dealerships existed prior to the episode above. Had I read the reviews of Ourisman, I would have saved myself some aggravation and time. Called and filed complaint with Honda Corp. Working up letter to BBB, Honda and owner of Ourisman of Laurel. Do not trust written information you receive - it's meaningless. You have been warned. Stay away from this dealer as far as possible.
by chili_sauce on 11/23/2008I have been looking for an Odyssey 2008. They give me the OUT THE DOOR pricing. But it seemed that they don't understand the term "OUT THE DOOR" pricing mean. They gave me the OUT THE DOOR pricing plus the appearance fee of $1,695.… They said that they can't take it off (yeah right). This is freaking 2008 already, who the hell are they trying to fool. Either they are stupid or they think the customer is stupid. Again, you have been WARNED. STAY AWAY. There are so many Honda dealers around Baltimore/DC/Maryland to pick from.
