    Made appointment as requested for oil change and tire rotation. Was told two hours. Went to lunch. Back in two hours and told they haven’t started. Another hour and a half. Blew my whole day. Appointment means nothing

    After diagnosing the problem on my vehicle, I was told Friday mid-afternoon that it would not be ready until late Monday afternoon. The Advisor calls me back in an hour & states my vehicle is fixed & ready for pick-up. Based on our prior conversation, I had know one to drive me to pick it up. I picked vehicle up Monday morning ~ 9:30 & it takes 20-25 minutes to pay the Advisor & have my vehicle delivered to the service area. Part of that problem waiting is that the Advisor has to go pick up the vehicle. There should be a designated person the Advisor could call to deliver the vehicle to the service area while he processes the payment.

  • Disappointed

    While I really appreciate the folks at Jim Tidwell, Im disappointed in them. I've been having my 2018 Explorer serviced here since i bought it. Not one time did anyone mention that i needed brakes or tell me that i neede rotors turned or ANYTHING!! Tires were mentioned but that was it. This time when warranty rack work and oil change was being done, Candace calls and tells me i need a $1000 brake job, front and back. I wasnt hearing any squealing or anything. Hesitantly and disappointedly, i told her go ahead but in hindsight i feel taken advantage of, which is sad. Why wasnt I advised ANYTIME this year that i had an issue???? The entire ordeal has left a bad taste in my mouth and a whole in my wallet AND heart.

    I always get my oil changes here because its convenient and a great deal however, this time it seemed to take a little longer than it normally does even though I arrived before my scheduled appointment.

  • 3 Hours for a Oil Change & Tire Rotation? Really? Go somewhere else!

    I don't know why the dealership takes appointments when every service gets put in the same cue whether you're getting an oil change or major work done. The service desk people spend most their time on their personal phones, and the service desk phones rang constantly for 3 hours straight. Service desk personnel promise to get back to you while you're waiting for status, and never bother to let you know what the status is. I heard the service desk complain there was no communication between them and the Technician's. Really, this is 2021. Excuses, excuses. The Service Desk Manager attempted to address mine and another Customers concerns and all we heard was excuses. A coupon was provided at check-in, and we were quoted $39.99 plus $15.00 for full synthetic, we ended up paying $70.15. Never will I go to a dealership for anything that does not explicitly require their business.

    Jim Tidwell did a great job when I purchased my car. There were some disagreements when trying to make a deal but at the end of the day no feelings were hurt and everyone was satisfied. I would recommend this dealership even if I bought a Toyota from a Ford dealership :)

    Had an appointment to change the oil and brake pads, waited 2 hours for them to tell me they didn’t have my part, and they had not performed the oil change. So after 2 hours of waiting. I left. With nothing getting done

    I have never, ever been treated by a company the way I was treated at Jim Tidwell Ford. Like family. I'm a first time car buyer and very scared of the entire process. Just very unsure because of all the horror stories I've heard of being scammed or tricked into something I wouldn't want. Not this dealership! Thanks to Davian and Brandon, I felt so comfortable and taken care of every step of the way. They thoroughly explained every piece of information and every decision I needed to make. They gave me their honest opinions about all my options so that I understood what every choice meant and where all my money would be committed. I'm sure they could tell how timid I was but they took great care with me. It wasn't aggressive and overwhelming like other experiences have been with other dealerships (which is why I'venever purchase a vehicle before); they were so gentle and understanding of my needs. They let me test drive and inspect and ask as many questions as i needed until i was completely comfortable with my final decision on a car. I finally settled on a 2021 Bronco Sport and I'm so happy with her. She's a beautiful vehicle and she drives like a dream. So many features included that I wasn't expecting and a few that have definitely made my life easier. I can't imagine my life without this car and can't wait to take all the adventures that are now possible for me thanks to this model. Now I have to figure out how to repay Davian, Brandon, and Jim Tidwell Ford for this amazing life change! I will definitely be coming back for all my servicing needs and have the utmost confidence that if I had any questions or concerns, all I have to do is call them. Thanks again guys, you're certainly the best in the biz!

    Classic dealership experience: come in with car issue, get told they can not find issue, pay them $200, dealership magically finds issue, quotes you $1000+ for something that is a fraction of the price anywhere else. Don’t go there.
