It was fine until…
by Charles L on 02/09/2022Among other services, we ordered four new tires. We’d had an issue with one of the old tires and drove into the shop on the spare. This was clearly relayed at the time of check-in. When we picked up the vehicle, the spare rim was still… installed, with one of the four new tires on it. The damaged tire was still damaged, on the rim in the spare tire storage compartment where we put it when we changed to the spare. We sat around waiting at the facility for over 3 hours while they attempted to find the spare tire they had removed. Thankfully, they had not disposed of it yet and were able to put the new tire on the proper rim and replace the old spare tire onto the spare rim…3 hours later.Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Terrible
by Broken Mustang on 02/09/2022I purchased my vehicle on December 28th on December 31st my vehicle went into low power mode as my car was notifying me that “engine coolant was over temperature”. I was stuck on the side of the road on New Year’s Eve at night in a vehicle… that was less than a week old. I had to get my vehicle tolled that night to my apartment because I could not drive it. I called the dealership the next day and spoke to the Sales Manager. The same manager that was consistent in me purchasing the vehicle, he showed little to no empathy and told me to put more coolant in the car although ( I told him I did the night before and it just seeped through immediately and spilled all over the ground. He then told me it was my responsibility to get the car towed to the dealership which is a good 45 mins away from where I live. He spoke to me and my parents and gave us EMPTY promises. The only reason I’m giving it a 1-star rating is due to the general manager who was much more pleasant and apologetic in regards to my situation although it still wasn’t handled the way it should’ve been. I told them that I did NOT feel safe in this vehicle as it clearly was not accurately checked before I made the purchase and there was absolutely no coolant in my car to begin with which caused a pipe to burst. They gave me a rental for a couple days and within that time frame I received calls from what felt like every single person working at the dealership, people who I had NO idea who they were. We asked for my money and my traded in car back if they were unable to give me another vehicle that was brand new with the upgrades that I had on my original mustang. They FAILED to do either. I love my car but really wish I would have purchased it at another dealership because these type of experience is UNACCEPTABLE. I’m writing this review to save someone the time, the money, their safety and not to purchase a vehicle at this dealership.Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Good customer service makes all the difference

I normally take my vehicle to a Ford dealer for its regular maintenance, but was treated poorly… on several occasions by the service managers at another local area dealer. I knew I needed to go elsewhere. I tried a couple of auto service & repair companies, but they both had service limitations. I then decided to schedule my next maintenance service with Jim Tidwell Ford. I had a purchased a vehicle there in the past, and remembered how much I liked their service department. They are friendly, professional, attentive, and know how to make a customer feel valued and important. Never heard from manager
by RN on 02/07/2022I got a new battery and that was fine. My appointment was at 10:30 on a Friday morning and my vehicle wasn't even looked at until Tuesday afternoon. Thus, I didn't get it back until Saturday. Though frustrating, this was forgivable due to… staff shortages which I understand. However, a $25 dollar Amazon gift card was removed from my vehicle during its time there. I contacted the service department to inquire about my missing card and was told a manager would look into it and contact me ASAP. That call was 11 days ago, and I haven't heard a word. We have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership and had never had a problem. I currently do not feel that I can trust my vehicle/belongings to this service department.Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I apologize the service completion time did not meet your expectations and for the amazon gift card that went missing after being serviced. Honor appointments
by Jim McGinnis on 02/04/2022The service rep was great. The approach to service needs to change. I had a 7:00 am oil change appointment, and was there waiting when garage doors were opened. That was not completed until 9:00 am. An oil change should not take more… than an hour. The explanation was that it was too busy. But I had an appointment. That should mean that my car is worked on at the time of the appointment. It is first thing in the day. No body was behind. You simply do not respect your customers enough to honor the appointment.Thank you for your feedback about the service completion time being longer than you expected because that should not have happened. Good service

The only problem I had was the length of time it took to do the service. Of course, I’m sure the service men were doing the best they… could & I was told it would probably take some time to get the work completed. I was offered a rent car, but opted not to get one.
